he also painted the little tiny flyknit thread pieces within the collar area ..what a beast

he said he used the photon blues( i think he used 2015 BW tho?)

finished these up though...

had to paint over the reflective strips because they were trashed to begin with

will rework after a few wears

and the brushes i use !

It's kind of crazy how much ppl will paint flyknits because Nike releases all these garbage colors.

Props to those who make theirs theirs

I doubled up on the Oreo V2 but was thinking I could try to trade a pair for a black/white racer? do you think it'd be fair? size 8.5

Looks great! Did you use Acetone on the midsole at all? To remove the original paint layer?

i just paint over it and apply matte finisher and wipe so it does not have too much shine.. worked out fine on my trainers that i excessively use

I was just thinking this. What they could make with I.D.'s. However, I'm kind of glad we don't have that option. Wallet would get crushed.

thanks for that...RRS finally shipped my turq/volts, so gonna take my stab at customizing them.  anyone have a link to a guide on painting the midsole?
I just read about a procedure to paint it and did it like this: Most important thing is to get the midsoles really clean

and completely free of fat, they recommend that azetone based cleaner, i just used pure azetone and q tips.

I didnt rub that hard to remove the base color because the acetone attacks the gum of the midsole, just sofly cleaning.

After the sole is clean u start applying the first THIN coat of "Flat Black" Angelus color to make it the matte look and not a glossy

midsole. Every coat dries for about 30 Minutes before you apply the next thin coat. Use thin coats, it doesnt

matter if there are non coloured spots after the first coat. In whole you do 5 coats and let the last coat dry

for at least 24 hours before you use them.

Thats how I did on the electric green trainers midsole and I already wore them for about 3 hours, no cracking so far.

RRS been shipping.. i think people who are getting delays are the ones who preorder a week before actual release

the occasional delays were from RRS not knowing actual release date and waiting on nike shipment to come in

*edit* and i guess now people are preordering when RRS is actually OOS on most sizes even though it shows otherwise via the website
