Just called NDC to check this out. NDC rep confirmed that the FKT Volt CW is active and is estimated to be back late this year, early next year.

it's not like I didn't believe ppl but they said the same thing when I asked if they had my size. awesome kick karma folks. rep said they're "currently in production" which makes sense why ndc has a butt load of both the black and white. tinker's grandma is slowly but surely knitting away in some back room.

the lime/blacks are the volts, right??? i'm this close to copping them, but i'm a TTS 9.5 and they only have a 10...is it worth it to wait it out, or should i just hop on these???

Check the first page for pics. A few pages back I believe someone posted a side by side of the two as well.

Check page 1 for all the CWs. They're different colors and the Volts have a black colored inner and the Electric Greens do not.

The Electric Greens are still nice and they are on sale on NDC, RR and Run (VIP discounted).

Got my pairs from NDC. Ordered Tuesday morning.

Whites are new style, unisex sizes on box, heel padding

Blacks are old style, men's size on box, no heel padding.

nice. everybody on the mainland gets their stuff in a flash. shipping to Hawaii takes for.e.v.e.r.

I was kind of looking forward to the heel padding for the blacks.

They probably have both. When I ordered the blk/wht pair from finishline awhile back, one came with padding and a second order I placed with them days later cam without. I didn't care for the padded pair so I ended up returning them. I am glad to hear that the blk/wht pair did not have the padding and flat ribbon laces.

Any idea if the volt trainer ever came in padded form? I'm assuming since the Olympics (as they were the "og's") they came in non-padded form...

Someone please correct me/clarify, as I'm pretty sure i'm wrong...

Just curious as to which version to expect from my recent NDC "warehouse" order...

They will be non-padded.  Guaranteed.

My Volts that I received yesterday from NDC were non-padded, I don't believe the Volts have been updated with the extra padding.

Just picked up my first pair of of Flyknits trainers from a seller off Ebay, not too much over retail. Got the blue glow / volt colorway, really looking forward to getting them. :smokin

Ordered the White/Black's off NDC. :pimp: only worry is keeping them clean since they'll be in the rotation heavily this summer.

Has anyone noticed a change in the zoom air setup from the old version to the updated ones?  The newer shoes seem to have noticeably fuller forefoot air units, creating a slight rise beneath the balls of your feet (noticable in both pairs of the updated versions I own).  The black/white pair I received is so pronounced that it feels awkward (not necessarily uncomfortable, just weird).  If I could secure a pair of pre-update shoes from this restock, I might go through with the long exchange process (since I bought from 3rd party retailer).  It will be a hassle though.

This just makes me think I need to grab as many non-padded first and second wave releases as possible before they are extinct.

^^^I have the actual USA volts trainers. Different insoles but none the less, there seems to be no padding.

I feel the same thing you're talking about, but in my pre-update black pair. Feels kind of weird and I don't really like it. However I don't notice it as much in my updated white pair..

That is weird.  Thanks for the input.  I wonder if it is just a quality control issue then.
