the people at nike have told me that the white trainers are still in production until the start of july. expect one last full restock between now and then.
 
so my dad is more of a long distance type of runner and he runs on the streets/sidewalk. would the racers be good or what about the lunars?
 
How do you guys keep your white trainers clean I wore them the next day I got them and already stained them

He should get lunarglide 4s. They are more suitable if he's a long distance runner.

Flyknits aren't the best for long distance running. I'd go with Lunarglides 3, 4 or 5s. I personally run in 3s.
 
Hello sneaker enthusiasts! My first pairs of the new flyknit trainers arrived today. After a whole year of being devoted to the roshe run i decided to switch things up a bit.

your going to get hooked on these even worse roshes cant hold a torch against these
 
Thanks for the help guys, he really liked my trainers so I figured he'd like a pair for himself.
 
anyone know if the black/white trainers will be available anywhere besides nike.com? i live in Australia so I've been hoping they would start re-appearing at other places soon
 
Is there really such a big aesthetic difference between the original Trainers and the new ones with padding?

nope, as stated on previous page...only differences are the heel padding and the ribbon laces as opposed to no padding and round laces. runners complained that the heel rubbed and the laces didn't stay tied (i guess) so they adjusted to help make a better performing product.

seems like nike is damned if they do, damned if they dont.

doesn't bother me tho
 
FYI for those interested in replacing the "ribbon laces" with the latest batch of White Flyknit Trainers. I bought a pair of Kiwi Sport Laces - Oval - 45" from Nordstrom Rack for $1.75. Here are some comparison pics. The white of the Kiwi laces is a little bit "off" compared to the ribbon laces, but once both shoes have the same set of laces on, you can't really tell.

Edit: Disregard the Kiwi packaging mistake. I don't really know why the laces packaging says 'Flat Black' when they are obviously 'Oval White'
