I blame my Mom for my bad habit. It really is her fault. I buy my kids Jordans now and they don't even care for them. Space Jams sitting in the closet. They just want to wear vans.

Hurts my soul.

Besides, Vans are cheap. So you should be grateful.  My problem is I wear everything under the sun, so it's even more costly.

I know racers are a running shoe.
But I've seen post of people working out in them.
That being said has anyone done crossfit training in these shoes.

Probably won't be sharing considering guys like jwdanklefs and tattdking are charging $500 for the service alone, not including the fact that you have to buy both donor shoes.

p.s. I figured it out too.  I tried Lemon's method of heat gun and that was no good... the upper totally shrinks and you burn your fingers. My first pair I started out with a 12, and it fits like a 10.5 LOL!

The other way I figured out actually is faster than the heat gun and safer for the upper since it doesn't shrink at all!

My buddy feels the same.  He actually traded me his MC 2.0 for my extra pair of Uni Red Racers.  Both DS.

Am I a bad friend that I didn't tell him I got my pair for $110 shipped? ....

When he got his pair, he told me they looked like easter shoes and can't wear them.  In the same conversation he said he just wanted to get a few more colors that he could actually wear and the Uni Reds was one.  So happens I had 1 spare left and Uni Red Racers are not my favorite anyways..

Also, he got his pair for retail so fortunately he didn't get raped for them.

I actually wasn't that impressed with the 2.0's... after all the hype from everyone, something about them looks off, at least with my pairs.  I'm still debating whether to sole swap them to lunar soles or not since I got both of my 2.0's for retail and less..

I still love my 1.0's best.

to be honest, i wouldn't share the customization methods either. Next thing you'll have everyone PM'ing him asking him questions.
