If you like plushed cushioned feel, then Lunar 1's are probably the best choice for you. I know I personally dont like the way lunar midsoles look, so if you feel the same and must get either trainer or racer, then the new rendition of the trainers should suit you. New version of trainers come with a padded heel area and the removal of heel cup (present in all racers and previous releases of trainers). If you get a chance to, it is probably best that you make it out to a Nike retailer and try both on to see which one actually feels better.

I personally favor the racer more than the trainer in terms of comfort. The design and shape of the insoles gives it a more "contoured" fit rather than just a flat insole like that of the trainers.

Trainers are what you want.

The racers are great, and I love them--but the trainers are definitely what you're looking for

Someone had them up in the lunar thread a while ago (they are lunars), and they looked more like a ******** colorway than in this picture.  either way they could be interesting.

This image is clearly a trainer. Lunar midsole + front rubber piece connecting sole to toebox does not look like that.

Couldn't have been more wrong.  Weren't even posted in the lunar thread.  should've looked before I leapt. And I hate people spreading misinformation so I'm doubly shamed.  Anyway, here is the other pic of the rear of those TRAINERS that phillywise spotted last month.

White Racers are up on Wiggles as well. The shot of the outsole clearly shows a black inner panel. Totally fine by me. No sign of MC Racers, though, which leads me to believe they are indeed limited. Which also leads me to believe I am SOL in trying to get a pair.

Hopefully the racers aren't hard to get. After the chukka the racer is my fav. I love the no padding / foot molded look of them. If not then Ill make due with the trainer. My lunar multi came in today and I packed them up to return already. Not feeling the drab dark colors and overall dull look.

where did you find the volt trainers in sz 14?? been on the hunt for those the last few months!
 
I know we all have our own opinion but the racers are so much better than trainers just look so much better on feet and in person

I think the main thing is we all get the shoes we want. I've gone from one trainer to four in a month or so because of following this thread. I need a breather. but I love giving +1 reps though. so I guess I cannot stay away.

Wish I had made it like you where I could drop 300 plus on shoes a month lol but your right were all getting these shoes for retail and nothing more I hope things stay that way for a while

Haven't been on the thread in a while - are the MC trainers going to be a GR? Tempted to preorder from that link from the previous page
 
I hope the MC Trainers/Racers don't release for at least another week. Had to put new tires on the car yesterday. :frown:
 
It's odd we have not seen more pics of the MC racers. It seems like there are many pics of the Lunar 1+ but other than the images from the small run of MC racers released with the HTMs I haven't seen any other images. Even the eBay listings I've seen for the racers uses stock images.

The racers actually are popping on Instagram the last few days. The trainer is the one I haven't seen many real life pics of. Hopefully they both come soon with good stock.
