so whats the point of flyknit racers with a lunar sole? are they supposed to be more comfortable for casual/running wear? I dont own any lunar so excuse my ignorance... i just own flyknit racers and thats all... but i do agree flyknits are comfortable for walking but not for long periods of time...i wore these to the mall, to work and just to going anywhere for a short period of time and they were great... but i went to walk around in the city of santo domingo for a whole day and they were great for the first hour or two but after a long day like 9 hours later of constant walking my feet were very tired and i ended up getting a blister...

^Lunaracer soles are far superior than the OG soles in the COMFORT realm. The OG soles are TOO FIRM for comfort. Then again, these are ZOOM RACING flats. Try the Lunaracer 3 or Flyknit Lunar Chukka to experience it.

LR soles also have the aesthetic edge for me.

I'm probably in the minority here, but in terms of comfort I'd take the lunars over the boosts any day

Just don't mention this in the UB thread or the hate will rain down on you

*takes screenshot and posts on UB thread* lol jk but yeah you're pretty much minority. Only thing that Lunars have over ultraboost is that flyknit feels better than primeknit imo, but cushion wise, Boost>Lunar

In regards to the FLYKNIT vs. PRIMEKNIT, I definitely prefer the design and colorways of Flyknit. I think the Racers have the best Flyknit upper design and colorways of all the FK models. There hasn't been a PRIMEKNIT model / colorway that has made me go :wow: thus far. They're all either too bland (all the plain monotonal cws) or poorly executed imo. :x

Then there's LUNAR vs. BOOST... I have yet to try a pair of any adi shoe with BOOST to compare, so I'll hold my judgement until there's a model with Continental soles and a good colorway. The OG soles have been known to wear out QUICK (if you run in them).

But there’s a catch; the traction is amazing on asphalt only when new. As time and miles go by, the initial euphoria fades away, along with the lugs getting shredded down to their stubs.

Soft rubber lugs meets immovable Asphalt, and quickly meet their demise. After just 30 miles, the once pointy things are razed to their very foundation.

:smh:

what do you do with the lunar uppers and the racer soles. Do you put those together also

Continental soles are being pushed out to all newer models. There's a nice charcoal type color with the soles seen in some adidas stores and footactions. I am a big proponent on flyknits, but I rather have a UB than racer for running. I wish racers had a wider sole tbh. And as for the nubs wearing down on the old soles, there's a youtuber runner that does review updates and reported that even though the nubs somewhat wore down after a month, it did not get to the boost and did not ruin the integrity of the traction. Also that the boost did not bottom out after a month (like my lunar 1s did after a couple of weeks of running in the summer) and felt the same as they were the first time he ran in them. Usually cushion bottoms out before tread on soles give out and they may still look good, but they're pretty much feeling like cardboard inside. So life expectancy on the UBs don't look too bad. I haven't ran in mine yet because it's brick AF in NY at the moment, but I know my lunar 1s didn't last long because the lunar cushion bottomed out way before the tread wore down.

Got my coworker into racers but he's too cheap to pay retail so hes buying fakes [emoji]128531[/emoji]

Checked RRS near midnight last night and saw the BW 1.0s in-stock.  Copped instantly.  Got a order confirmation like 18 hours later, but not sure If they will ship

.  If anybody has order off of RRS before, does an order confirmation guarantee that your order will ship?
You have some pics of the confirmation?

gotta general q for some of yall that have offloaded parts of their collection, what is the best way to sell a lot of sneakers? im looking to offload about 20 pairs of sneakers but im not sure what the best way to ship something or the cost of shipping something like that? if anyone has any advice id really appreciate it

Hey guys. Im sure this has been asked 263874 times but im sure someone here has had some trial and error i HATE the ribbon laces all these new racers are coming with. I put my rope laces from my oreo 2 on these new cactus blue and they feel more comfortable. Look a lot better too.

Can anyone tell me what laces are near identical to the round laces that come with racers. Luckily all these new pairs are black tongue/laces so i'd buy like 6 pairs of laces thanks.

yeah I meant  rope lace supply. they are completely round with no groves or little side string

^ I feel like those aren't comparable to the Flyknit racers of laces though...

I think the guy asking is pretty much out of luck, unless you want to lace swap with some people on here who like the ribbons better.
