Thanks for the reply dragicon dragicon ! Definitely looking at Lunaracer soles as well. So you mean even if you size down by 0.5 the Lunaracer soles are still a bit longer? Net, if I'm a size 11 in Racers I'll probably need to get size 10.5 in the Lunaracers for a sole swap.

I don't live in the US and I don't think we have Lunaracers here so I'll have to order it blind.

Thats what I'm thinking at the moment... I took apart one of my goons (it was significantly more work then my wifes heavily used trainer, and took me about 1.5 hours to separate just the one shoe), so I will be test fitting it with a lunaracer bottom at some point in the next week or so as well.  I'll report back my findings.

Thanks for sharing. I was also curious because if you use a blow-dryer with a a little water for the upper to separate, wouldn't the flyknit shrink a little bit?

In my experience (3 total shoes separated from the midsole thus far), the older the shoe, the easier it is to separate it.  Also, when I separated the goon midsole, it took a lot more work.  I had to have pretty close to boiling water in order to melt the glue.  I don't think a hair dryer is going to get hot enough.  I had very sturdy shoe trees inside the shoe to prevent it from shrinking with the hot water.  One thing that would probably work even better is if I could find a mannequin foot or something along those lines that is the same size as the inside of the shoe.  It is actually a lot of work to get them separated.  After these trainers, and then the goons, the only other pair I plan to swap will be those white zoom agilities.

I got an email from runnerinn about a change in availability or delay of my order. Except when i log in and view my order i still have the 5/16-5/17 date. Thats later than the original date but its already been like that for a couple weeks. Odd

i received the same email from runnerinn.

but there is nothing change on my account .

For anyone who owns the photo blue racers, do all the tongues on these seem too short compared to other racers? I figured it was a flaw from older models. In the pic you will notice the tongue pulling down the laces. Just want to see if others have this same issue or is it just this pair.

Adidas has always been behind to replicate Nike's innovations, a good example is the flyknit. Call it prime knit if you want (I still can't say it with a straight face), but Nike has perfected the technique for a long enough time to let competitors to catch up. The runners do not seem to be their focus lately, but more towards basketball shoes. The KD9 for example, it's pretty impressive how far they can take the knitted concept. Also the Kobe's, I'm not a fan but the quality of the knit is very impressive in hand. Another example is the knitted sock/boot, something that Nike has focused on ever since the magistrate/mercurials. Looks like competitors are finally coming around to the concept but will always be playing catch up. Of course, this is good for the consumer to have a variety of options to go with. As far as the racers/boost debate it's a matter of preference and price.
Nike is king! yeah boost is cool bUT it's all they got Adidas just takes decade old Nike tech and revamps it of coarse it's gonna be a Lil better boost is new lunar ub is new presto\sock dart prime knit is weak fly knit. The whole purpose of a knitted upper is to give structure with minimal materials Flyknit does that with flywire and precise weaves. Pk is pretty much just a sweater /tshirt and needs plastic cage for stability fk is in a total league of its own not to mention. Adidas stole 3 top designers from Nike and the the hype from the yeezy line Witch Nike gave 2 fuks about but the lunar epic is a dope shoe and very close to the ub but lunar needs to be mixed with zoom to get the springyNess mixed wit the softness but I'm glad Adidas fuvked wit Nike cuz there starting to flex a Lil and gonna kill Adidas wit some crazy new tech
