@Fargin doesn't it look like the loopps on the tongue where the laces go thru are too low. When I put put laces through the top loop it pulls them down where as my other racers the tongue is in line with the laces.

Could you try skipping the loops in the tongue, when you tie it?
 
in fairness, some people are curious about UB's and want opinions from those that have both UB and FK.

I don't see the huge problem.

They don't need to. When you do 8 BILLION in sales in 3 months you don't need to come up with an "answer" to another brand. Nike is not worried about Adidas, they are only worried about outdoing themselves

So, if you want something as comfortable as boost, Nike has nothing for you? Somehow I find it hard to believe that Nike wouldn't offer consumers something comparible or better...

Lunar epic? But maybe that doesn't count since it's a performance shoe. Not to mention Prestos which are some of the most comfortable sneakers I own. Which are now over 15 years old

I could try skipping the top loop and see. I just wanted to see if other photo blue racers were like mine. eitherway not too big of a deal. How do u like your pair?

best way to find out is try both.. if you don't have a NikeTown or Nike Running store nearby that don't stock the Epic, buy a pair on NDC and return if they don't meet your expectations.. I personally haven't tried them on myself but I'm not too worried about UB vs Epic.. tried UB a few diff times and they're just not for me.. I have found what works for me with my swaps.. I am however looking forward to the Epic lows and a few other new flyknit upper pairs that are coming out this year..

I meant strictly for casual, I'm not doubting the Epics would be better for running. UBs lack a lot of stability and I probably wouldn't run more than 2 miles in them. However, I love the responsiveness of the UB and I haven't been able to find a Nike cusioning tech that can compare. I think a Flyknit + Boost (or a Nike version of it) could be amazing if done properly.

That GIF is an understatement. I literally was getting a headache reading it.
 
So just a heads up, Nikesf had gave out coupons for 20% off your purchase. Not sure if other nike stores are doing that but I used it to grab a pair of Olympic blue racers under retail.
