Are you talking about the MC trainer? because if so my head may explode.

They won't be getting anymore of either the MC racer or trainer.

Lukes Locker pair came in. Weird because laces are not ribbon laces like the white pair I ordered from them. They are normal laces sort of like any other tennis shoe laces. Only example that comes up is like the laces on vans

I get mine tomorrow as well. I noticed you have the padded version. Every Flyknit i have is the unpadded version. I wonder if this will be a pain to wear.

FB15D is only good for liquidation shoes. regular price flyknit won't work.

edit: didn't see the response up there.

The MC trainers are only produced in the padded version so you will most likely receive a padded version

That sounds about right shipped up Europe and fakes have been getting better but you can still tell. The toe box is too bulky on fakes and the ankle area is super stretched. Somebody put up a video on here

Thanks! I'll look into the eBay link once the month has turned.

I have a size 9 in Roshe and Lunar Montreal. The Roshe is correct/slightly big and the Lunar Montreal is too snug. But it seems like the sizing follow the Roshe pretty well?

Most likely not

It's made out to be a much bigger deal than it actually is in here. Padded or unpadded fits all the same in my size.

100% untrue. It is a controversial subject because it in fact DOES matter a great deal. As someone who has tried both, the padded versions cause discomfort to my feet. If you look at any padded trainer, you will notice that the heel area caves inwards at quite a steep degree. This in return takes away the natural form-fitting feel of the shoe and causes the padding to constantly rub against my feet. Padded trainers are a no no in my book. Even if I do purchase them, it is solely for the purpose of owning a particular colorway.

Good to know. I guess I'll get an opinion when I try them on tomorrow. If they aren't my cup of tea, I'll let folks know on here.

not sure how you wear your shoes but if you actually have that much of a complaint about the padding then I dont know what to say. Yes it adds some bulk to the look of the shoe but if you buy them in the right size, wear socks and tie them normally then I can't understand what the problem is.
I had both and prefer unpadded beyond a doubt.

The bulkiness of the padded ankle takes away from the minimalist sock like feel the unpadded versions provides.

It's the same arguement when it comes to zoom air VS full length.

Different strokes for different folks.

I have both padded and Unpadded pairs and I know that heel area you are talking about but it's not as bad as the multi's. I feel no difference

Not sure what you are trying to imply here, but I wear a size 8 in ALL sneakers. It is the size that fits me nicely with any sneaker. This also goes for padded trainers. I'm a size 8 in padded trainers, it isn't an aesthetics issue I'm trying to express here but rather a comfort issue. The padding on the heel curves in way too much for it to be of comfort to me. Buying a .5 size up (which I actually have tried an 8.5 padded trainer) does not solve this problem but rather makes the problem worse as now I have discomfort from padding AND the sneaker is too loose. I do wear socks with any footwear I wear because I just can't imagine there being no barrier between my feet and a pair of sneakers. I don't like that kind of feeling.

Bottom line is, padded trainers are the worst. If I wanted a shoe with padding, then I wouldn't be looking at flyknits; simple as that. At the very least Nike should offer 2 options on the trainer: padded and unpadded. It might be a little costly on the production side to offer 2 variations of the same product, but if you don't you can't please them all.

I wasn't specifically targeting you but rather those complaining of the padding in general, but since you interpreted it that way then I digress. Not wearing socks with sneakers is your personal choice, although it is something I avoid doing. I own both padded and non padded, and while I do not care for the padding I could not honestly say I wouldn't buy the shoe because of it. A year ago the white trainers released in their original form and I waited on getting a pair until it was finally too late and they were sold out. When they restocked with the padding I was disappointed but there was no way I was going to pass on them. If you were in my situation I'm sure you would realize that having a padded pair is better than none at all. So those saying the padding is awful and persuading others not to buy them just doesn't make sense to me.

Your last quote also strikes me as odd since we're talking about trainers. If the racers started having padding that would be an atrocity, but a training sneaker having padding is fairly common and is seen in almost every Nike model.

This. I mentioned it a few pages back but when I asked a Nike rep why they added the padding they told me the pronounced arch of the heel cup complete with the extra padding actually will condition and strengthen your calves as you run in them. This makes perfect sense as to why they added it to the training version of the flyknit but not the racing version.
