yea i've always liked shoes made out materials like canvas, denim, and now this knit material.  seems to give the shoes nice character.  i've
been moving a lot of my other shoes in my collection to make room for these.  i think i'll be buying a good bit of flyknits in the future too, would
like some with the lunar sole.  now i just hope the fit is nice.

I hear you. I fell in love with these the first time I saw them. Want to see how they perform before I make the full plunge. I really want the original HTM Volt Black White colorway but I am not ready to drop that much on one pair. I hope they reconsider and add the lunar base to this upper design on some non HTM's. Hope you enjoy yours!

Grabbed up 7 pairs:

Racers:
Volt
Orange X 2

Trainers:
Volt
Red
Black
Black/White

Hyperfuse Infrared X 3

Great week for me

So who's going TTS and who's going a 1/2 size down?  I'm going to grab the volt racers and I just wanted some more opinions.

i was planning to go .5 size down, but in the end i went tts because it just seems safer and there is no true consensus.  i won't know if it was the right choice until they arrive though.

Glad these are sitting. I'll pick my pair up next week. Congrats to those who copped this morning. Some of you went in! haha

The potential!

I'm pretty bummed there aren't any Lunar versions for the launch... They look cleaner, imho.

Anyhow, from most of the comments regarding fit and sizing, it seems to be...

Racer: TRUE

Trainer: 1/2 DOWN

I'm gonna wear mine into the steamroom and see what happens.  I knew my bath house membership would finally pay off.

I went .5 up...made a mistake? I usually wear sz10 in Lunars, Frees, and Roshes...should be good on these with sz10 right?

^ Since it's the Racer, I think you'll be okay if you prefer more room. If you purchased the Trainers though, check out urbanwaste's post below.

the one on the left is tts. there is like 1.5 thumb widths at least, and that continues around all of my other toes on the outside. when i take a step the shoe creases around the whole edge of my toes.

the one on the right is .5 down. a little hard to see with the angle, but there is about a thumb width of space between my big toe and the end and about half a thumb width around the other toes.

i'd say it's just personal preference. at most i will be wearing a super thin sock, but i will probably go no socks many times over the course of the summer even though i know they will get nasty.

yeah I like some room...and have a semi wide foot compared to the average person...Im a true 9.5, but always buy 10 in Lunars,Frees, etc.

Check your local Fleet Feet's and or you can try to find a Road Runner Sports store. You can call the Road Runner 1-800 number

You would have to think that they have to have a wider release with the lunar soles. How are they producing this many variations with a lunar sole yet none for GR? Maybe a production issue? MY guess is with limited production capacity they chose to focus on the new sole with the flyknit upper instead of an "older" sole with the flyknit upper. I really do hope I can get a pair of Lunar Flyknits

I completely agree.

They should've made the Zoom renditions the HTMs, and the Lunar renditions as the GRs.

Roshes size 11 for me. lunar racers size 11.5. Frees 11.5. Should I stay @ 11.5 for Racers or true 11 like Roshes. My concern is the width, as I have wide feet.
Thanks for any input.

So who's going TTS and who's going a 1/2 size down?  I'm going to grab the volt racers and I just wanted some more opinions.

I went TTS with the racers and .5 down with the trainers. Racers were too tight in the toe box at .5 down. Played it safe and went with my 13.

As for the trainers, there was some heel slippage at TTS so I went .5 down and they did feel somewhat snug but not uncomfortable, hurt my toes painful snug lol.

Plus the store told me that I could go for a run and come back later and if I didn't like them I could exchange them for a sz 13 which was kinda cool. Might take them up on that offer since they only had 2 full size runs of each size...

The knitting is crazy on these. I like the Racers more. The ying yang colorblocking is nice. Racers need more than two colorways when the trainers has 10 cws. :x $150 for running shoes is too much for me. I'll get them if they go on sale.
