Alright after waiting at 8am till 12:30 noon. I finally got inside, the customer in front of me got the last size of the blue/green multi. Sz 6. The yellow red sold out before I even got inside. Next pair to run low was volt. I managed a sz 9 . It was only 1 pair /customer. Although I saw one big white dude get back in line. Fck. They had plenty black and blue , the red was just right after the volts in terms of limited quantity.

They are nice man . They feel really light and awesome. Lunar sole is legit. I kind of wish I got back in line to get the black , so I could have a daily user. It didn't seem like there were too many people after me, max maybe 50-60. But then again with 246 pairs in the world or something. I feel lucky.

I'm tired. Gonna drink a beer and have oysters

As far as the line behavior- ehhh what can you do. I counted maybe 4-5 people who cut, in the front with their friends. Not sure if it could have made the difference in me getting any of the multi-colors. (the man did say that 6 was sitting around for 40 min) but all
In all. I enjoyed the people next to in line. We kept talking crap about the suburban parked in front of the store. I swear like 12 ppl hopped out that car. But it's all good. They deserve it if they were there from 10pm last night.

Edit: I also forgot to mention, that there was this bum who kept bothering us, holding a jug of carlo Rossi.. Lol, he got arrested, and was just heckling us. Crazy

i think the racers are much nicer than the trainers in person, the pattern and use of the two colors is what gets me...

Just stopped by Niketown to make sure that I ordered the right size in the trainers...ended up getting the Blue/Volts, Red/Oranges, and Black/Whites. Called and cancelled my order for the Blues and Volts. In person the contrast on the others was just :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:

After just trying on the trainers here is my evaluation of the sizing:

I wear a 9.5 in almost every Nike shoe including Jordans and Nike Free 2.0s which seem to be the main comparison tools. I wear a 9.5 and also a 9 in Roshe Runs, which are shoes that I wear with socks and also sockless. I tried on the 9 and 9.5 in the flynknit trainers and here is how they felt:

9.5 (my regular size) - The fit is unbelievably comfortable. There is a little extra room in the toe which is pretty normal for me and is the same in my Roshe runs. I'd say it is the tiniest bit more room than in my Free Run 2.0s though.

9 (.5 size down) - The length was perfect. Only the slightest bit extra room but not constraining or uncomfortable at all. HOWEVER, the width of the shoe was noticeably a bit tighter. While the 9 would've been my choice length wise, at the thickest point of my foot right before my toes begin the 9 felt a little tight. I was wearing my regular low-cut socks.

Decision: I went with the 9.5. Personally I'm not a crazy runner and will not be using these for any sort of serious training, mostly for casual wear and casual working out/running short distance under 3 miles. The width issue would have bothered me a little during casual wear, and the little bit of extra length actually added a little comfort when the shoes are not tightly laced how I normally wear them casually.

For this reason I'd say that anyone simply buying these shoes for casual wear should go TTS. If you are going to be wearing these for serious training I would definitely recommend trying them on because I might've chosen to go 0.5 down for strictly running usage. Hope this helps, and for anyone that hasn't seen these in person...the contrast on the knitting is absolutely stunning :pimp: Enjoy

Has anybody else noticed that it seems like there is a third model with a less structured upper? The blue/yellow pair with red laces in the picture above.

And also in the following photo, the 4 pairs from the crystal blue pairs to the red/yellow soles in the foreground

Sorry if this has been answered previously, but are they releasing as a GR in the near future with the lunar sole?

Yep! They're called the Lunar One+. They feature the same FK Trainer upper with LunarGlide+ 4-esque tooling.

yeah it was def some fun times at Montalban today

disappointed I couldn't get either of the two tone colors but oh wells

So far I have the volt Racers, black/white trainers, and the red HTM lunars

Racers is by far my favorite

Anyone who has the racers feel that the heel is slightly inward.

I feel like sprinting.

Also the racers ventilation is superb.

You can literally feel the air on the sides of your feet and toes.

I'd love to pick some of these up but want to try them on for sure. Are the big name running stores getting these too?

As of right now there is no known info in this thread about a GR release with the lunar sole like the HTM's. Just the Nike Lunar One+ which is a lunar type of sole, but not the same as the Lunar Flyknit's which have been released thus far.

It is hard to believe that with this many photo's and time spent into the HTM style Lunar sole, that they will not release a GR with the same tooling as the HTM Lunar's. Look at how many photos have the lunar soles! :nerd:

Sole separation after the first wear, really Nike?!? I was soo excited about these too. Smh...
