Nike Lunar Flyknit Trainer :pimp:
Yes it has been released as a HTM but I can see Nike putting these out as a GR imo.
The heel tab isn't too high either. It just seems like that because of the angle.
They need to bring both the Racers and Trainers w/ Lunar out before the years end. Just take my money already!

THIS!

It is actually. Flyknit racers have 6 lace holes while flyknit trainers only have 5.

When I first got my racers and trainers I was wishing that they would put out a gr lunar release but after running in both the racer and trainer I think they did these right. I would still like a model with the lunar either for running or casual wear but these get the job done as is.

I have continued running in mine and my calves have started to loosen up. If it matters I am the worlds most inflexible human being.

All in all I am very happy with these as is. Looking forward to more colorways, hopefully in the near future!

It is a Nike Lunar Flyknit Trainer
Also I just got mind blown right now. I'll post what I found out in a couple minutes. It might just be only me though.

My bad cutthroat for making you wait so long. It took longer than expected. :D Let me know if this is any help.

Okay so after reading yoona's post about there being 6 lace holes on that FK Lunar picture I realized they are definitely Trainers.

I wanted to make sure so I pulled out all my Flyknits (Racers, Trainers, HTM 3rd Release) to make sure I wasn't wrong and after comparing the HTMs and the Trainers I realized they were the same upper!!! :smh:

Compare the uppers to all the pics in my post.

Things to take note of:

  • Side Panels
  • Swoosh Type (Longer Swoosh, Mid Swoosh, FR2 Swoosh , or No Swoosh)
  • Toe Box

2 Uppers X 2 Soles = 4 Different shoes

Here is the more detailed comparisons of the three Flyknits I have:

I am new to nike talk and its Nice to look over what people think about the flyknit. In my opinion after getting the htm flyknit trainer from the 2nd flyknit htm release with the lunar sole. Then getting the 3rd release blue volt htm flyknit which is basically the same trainer but with more design pattern input from that fragment guy.

I think the 2nd release was more comfortable at first feel and actually i don't know how but felt abit lighter. the design of the 3rd release is more like a fashion trainer.

The gr flyknits are not bad but without the lunar sole yet again they don't quiet feel as comfortable right now but maybe will over time. I must admit they are a very attractive trainer thought way more attractive than the limited htm flyknits. I got the blue and black usa track trials colourway from n.t london it looks stunning!!!

To distinguish the Trainer from the Racer, I look at two primary sections on the upper...

- Racer: Striped and triangular shaped section that's a part of the toe box.

- Trainer: Dynamic Flywire (cords) and partially knitted tubing along the upper.

That's exactly the main thing I look at.

Can anyone with a HTM Flyknit post what their box tag says?

Mine for example is "Nike Lunar Flyknit HTM NRG"

I just want to see if there is indeed only 2 different styles of HTMs.

Aight you see those 3rd HTM's (in spoiler) . . See the first two joints .. Pls tell me those are releasing in the states.

anyone else notice that there were two(2) total htm racers and ten(10) total htm trainers released? the exact same as the general release: two racers, ten trainers. i just noticed that with the last picture post...

I just got off IM with a Nike employee and they said the Volt Trainers will be restocked but they don't have a date yet. I thought that would be helpful for anyone thinking about pulling the trigger on resell prices.

Boss-

My second and third release HTM Trainers both have "Nike Lunar Flyknit HTM NRG" on the box with identical model numbers 535089 with different color codes (obviously). I unfortunately do not have a pair of the Racers to confirm that the model numbers match that with the GR.

:wow: wow! Didn't notice that. Nice eye.

Interesting... The HTM racers model number should be the same as the GR racers. (526628)

I don't think so ...

Carrie: Let me check to see
Carrie: I do not have a date on these however I would be more than happy to submit feed back to our design team and let them know that there is a demand for this shoe"

Sorry bro.

Her final comment to me concerning Flyknits:

"Carrie: With all the Flyknits it is the same thing we don't have any information on the restocking of this"
