I don't think that should be a problem. I am not positive but the one I spoke with didn't indicate any issue shipping to midwest. FYI, the seem to only have the volt and orange racers, as well as the Volt and Black/white trainers. Sizes may be becoming scarce as each day goes by. Good luck.

Just ordered a pair of volts. I overpaid for my first pair. I can dig it. Thanks, NT! At least this way, I can wear one to run in and one casually.

Thanks for the help! I also just received an email back from the Fleet Feet Sports Buffalo store saying that they didn't have any in yet because they are being prepared for shipment with an anticipated arrival in early September with a full size range. I might try to hold out til then so I can try them on and get the right size

Just ordered a pair of black/white trainers in a size 11 from Luke's Locker in Colleyville. They charged me sales tax even though I don't live in TX. Came out to 172 and change.

Thats strange that they charged you tax. I order my first pair from Fleet Feet Houston and they did not charge me tax, only shipping to CA. The total with shipping ended up being less than I would of paid for the shoes plus CA taxes.

I bought a can of scotch guard but am nervous to use it. If these are truly knit by a machine that used to knit socks and sweaters I would have to think its safe but I dont want ruin a pair testing it out... There has to be a way.

i sprayed my volt trainers w/ water and stain repellant and no issues whatsoever.

so when the pic of the IOA's was posted there was something about the look of them that i really liked that couldnt quite put my finger on. after a minute i realized it was that the IOA pair had much "fatter" laces than the htm trainers came with. so i thought i would switch the laces out on my pair of htm's and try it out. thoughts?
im not sure if i like it as much as i did on the IOA's i think with the lighter upper and the white soles is what made those look so good. with these i think it might be to dark. i dont know, ill have to see how i feel after i wear them...

I think it is just the lighting mixed with the gloss of the photo. I actually think it is the same first release HTM's that you have as your main photo.

not a fan of the lace switch. like them as is. would be interesting to try others though. like skinny rope laces, or regular flat laces.
