Had to remake my account, not that I posted much in the first place. Anyways, the style number for the flyknit trainers is showing up in Finishline's system, no idea if they'll have the one's coming out Friday since they're not on our release list.

Beautiful news indeed, won't help my endeavors Friday but still beautiful all the same.
As for Friday, I'm too happy to have a chance at the volt racers & either the orange/blue, blue/black, or all black/white trainers. I would love to finish my summer running with these, been waiting since the press release for these to finally drop. Passed on so many runners to have a shot at these, can't wait!

I really don't want to pay retail for the Zoom editions. I'd love to use my FNL $20 coupon on the Trainers. Hopefully, they won't be excluded

I'm glad that Nike says these aren't limited because it seems like they have been trying to build huge hype around even the average GR lately. Just a little concerned that it seems so few shops are getting them. Perhaps Nike is just going to sell all of them (basically) themselves for a while until they can produce enough to fill shops?

tough time deciding on getting the trainers or racers, trying to limit the monthly sneaker fund. I feel the trainers i can rock more casual, but i don't want to pass on the racers and not be able to get them down the road without involving a reseller. anyone else in the predicament?

I haven't tested them out yet just tried them on. I am a size 9-8.5 but got these in a size 8 since 8.5 was gone. I can tell these will be fine for walking around in but I would not be able to run in them, size 8.5 would have been perfect. I would recommend as most people have said to go a half size down from your true size.
I will definitely be getting more pairs on the 27th.

No Nike+ in the runners? Also, does anyone know if they are releasing at 8am EST Friday? I didn't see an exact time. I'm going to have someone do an item locate at Finish Line to see if any stores have the trainers in stock already.

The Trainers are compatible with the Nike+ receiver. If you have Nike+ GPS (iPhone/iPod/Android), you don't need the receiver.

The Racer is Nike's staple shoe and that usually means it will be more sought after, It also weighs almost 2 oz less than the Trainer. I was torn between both also the trainers are just too bulky.

Whats up NT family, new to the forum, but defiantly not new to the game. Any word on FNL or FL inventory on these? My bet would be closer to the holidays, but with all this good news this week, one can only dream! I was lucky enough to scoop up a pair at a coaching clinic/ production convention and fell in love.

Are these even good for running? If I get the Racers, I'm actually gonna put mileage on them. I don't want to spend $150 and it can't even handle half marathon distances. Anyone that got their hands on a pair early and ran with them? How did it feel/perform??
In the running world, the general notion is that Nikes are always the best looking but not the best performers. I'm hoping this shoe performs well cuz it looks nice as hell!!
