agreed.
i did something i don't normally do and asked someone at nike for a hook-up on the trainers. he has a 10 in the trainers that he's not giving up and said no chance of a 9 for me. these are tough. heart breaking. at the beginning of the flyknit hype there were so few of us and there was always an outside chance of getting a pair for only a mild gouge. nowadays, it's a no go. i'm glad i got my HTMs early on. *sighs*

Even in the beginning of the flyknit days HTMs were very hard to get for me.

Some things never change.

So, if you were buying your first pair of Nike FlyKnit shoes to wear during workouts and running, which pair would you try to get?
  • FlyKnit Racers
  • FlyKnit Trainers
  • FlyKnit One+
  • FlyKnit LunarGlide 1
I think thats all the styles out right now that you can find online/retail right?

I really want a pair bad, but I'm new to the FlyKnit and running shoes in general.

Thanks!

lol they only dropped in a handful of countries. i scoured the auction sites for those countries from the drop date until i found something at a price that was ok for me.

Yeah I know...1948, Nike stadium, 21 mercer, Nike Japan

Just wish I would have went your route.

for retail price maybe, but the first drop of flyknits were not that expensive on the resell if you knew where to look.

I remember you getting your pair. $3-400 seemed at little high at the time. In retrospect, I would jump on that price. $900 for the cheapest is ridiculous with price going up to $3000. I wish I would have known where to look back then.

^^^^ for that price I'd cop 2 pairs..... the latest release will be 5x those prices

Here is something I noticed. All of the Flyknit HTM's have "HTM" sewn on to the tongue with the exception of the Blue racers and the Orange racers which have "USA" and a "001" or number, respectively. Correct me if im wrong.

This latest HTM multicolored trainers have the customary "HTM" on the tongue.

However, the latest multicolored racers have a regular Flyknit tag on the tongue. And I find it strange that they are pictured with 2 other color-ways of the racer. Does this mean that there is a chance they arent HTM's and have a chance at a wider release? Does anybody else find this peculiar?

Someone earlier in the thread mentioned something similar.

Only the lunar soles from this weekends release seem to be HTMs while the racers below may have a wider release in the future like how the blue and red trainers were released at the Oregon trials then at a later date.

I also think that since stock photos of the above racer have become available along with two other multi-colored racers points to them being more widely available.

There were never stock photos of HTMs correct?

Not typical stock photo's, but they released professional ones.

Yeah I've seen those when they were released but I'm taking about regular stock photos that are shown to retail stock buyers.

Thats why I believe the multi-colored racers will see a wider release because those stock photos have surfaced.
