Ill: the heel is a little firmer than the forefoot, but its still pretty soft. kinda scared to run in these again, the rubber is too thin.. also, i found the pics of my seperated sole. will post when i get home!

So I just finished going thru this thread and saving all the pics possible.... My life has changed forever.... Now to find myself a few pairs of w/e I can get lol

my local RRS said they wil have both the trainer and racer on friday. I have already bought a green trainer and the red Olympic Trials pair. I really want the blue HTM racers though

Is this the same orange pair we've seen earlier in that group shot a few weeks ago? They seem to use a lot more grey then I remembered....

I called almost all of the Fleet Feets. There are very few that are getting them or have even heard of them. None of them wanted to do phone orders. If anybody has any leads on the black, orange, or blue pairs please let me know. Being in Wyoming doesn't help me much. Thanks!

Nike.com said last week or the week before that they would be releasing them but nothing since.

I know.  I have been following the Flyknits closely for months.  I started a thread over on ISS.  I am just very surprised we have not seen an official announcement from Nike with a release date and the upcoming colorways.

I DMed NikeStore and they said they will release 7/27. See below... Also, I asked them if it would be online too and they said "Yup. 8AM ET"

 

They get released this Friday in stores and online at 8AM ET

 

Thanks Jonas. Great interview and thanks for sharing in this thread. I wish anyone besides New Yorkers had a shot at 21 Mercer HTM's. Can you confirm the coating on the toe box for the color hues blended together Lunar Flyknits? Is it to protect the toebox? Is it a special Nike-tooled Flyknit skate experiment?

This thread is the best that NikeTalk as to offer. Everyone one is bringing a puzzle piece to the table to solve this mystery and helping each other out with store locations, sizing, and reviews. This is a great thread.

The latest I heard from my local Fleet Feet is that Nike is having trouble getting the Flyknit's out to retailers in time for the July 27th launch date. Who knows if this is correct but that's what the manager said.

I also think it has been strange with the way Nike has handled this release. It is definitely not the norm. No set release date per say, very little information, no list of shops getting them. In my opinion I think this is due to the fact that Nike has had trouble with production. I think Nike doesnt want to show weakness by admitting that the production machine is very complex and they have had trouble scaling up. I also think that Nike itself is surprised at any type of adversity since they are usually always very successful at what they do. I think with not being able to ramp up production, they implemented PLAN B. They knew that missing the olympics as a promotion tool for the Flyknit technology would be a missed opportunity so they just kept quiet about a real release date and stores to release to. So using what little production capacity they have for Flyknit's, they made Olympic team shoes, Track and Field Trials and HTM releases. This showcases the technology while building demand and keeps them in the news cycle for innovation and earns them some free advertising. Now with this slow and small first general release they can kind of gage demand while they attempt to ramp up production.

Nice!  I am going to go talk to a Nike rep. now to see if I get the same info.   I have been anticipating this release for far too long!

looks like the ones i wanted might be those blue glow volt trainers. i was hoping ndc might surprise us with some HTMs, but i guess i'll have to settle for these. maybe with the mass release, HTM pairs will resell for cheaper.

This is what I was wishing for. That a mass release would decrease the price of HTM's

Also, It is being reported that these color-ways will be release in the Fall, versus 1/1/2013 as posted in here. I wonder which is true?

Based on the tweet nike replied to me with I think some of those colors will release on friday hence the term "slew" they used.

Trying not to be too greedy but... praying for these to be swoosh discounted
