Not taking a jab cause I honestly don't care. To each their own when it comes to wearing their shoes.

Yeah the racers have a deeper color to them from what I have seen, those trainers look a little lighter in those pictures
 
I always LOL when a grown man cares about what another grown man wears... maybe it's me but where I'm from it's a pretty weird thing. Apparently this is normal on the internet though? :D

Getting back on topic- I'm looking forward to those cheeto Trainers and wolf grey Lunar
2's, both are "mandatory pick ups" in my opinion.

Feeling weird towards those people is just as critical/judgemental as those grown men who are judging in the first place.

I'm indifferent. Could care less either way, and not insecure about that sorta stuff.

But you're on a sneaker forum because you care about the SHOES other people wear... If that isn't ironic....

On the real though, nobody cares how anybody dresses on the street, but if it's posted online for the world to see then it's an issue...
 
can't wait to wear these guys out. it's been brutal here (MI) lately. in Jan, I think we've only gone to 40's a few times. need to start putting in some miles on these guys.

the only reason I bought them full price is I was scared that NDC or other sites will run out of my size. LoL. my local outlets don't seem to get any trainers or racers so there's really no chance of getting them there. FNL is my other go to shoe store but they don't have trainers or racers either. I guess to answer your question, if your size is not that popular, there's more chance of getting them on sale but if you're like me (size 10), it's always a gamble waiting. I wished I was looking into flyknits more when the mc racers came out. if I find my size, I'll probably end up paying $200-$250 to complete my mc collection. I went with the team orange racers since I really enjoy that cw as well so if I don't feel like paying that much for the mc racers, I'm covered. haha...

Well said, it's a SNEAKER forum, not a denim or GQ forum- so what jeans I'm wearing really is irrelevant. I'm willing to bet aside from an appreciation for FK's, our personal styles of dress are vastly different, do your thing and I'll do mine.


On a side note, these kind of been growing on me lately. May have to scoop up a pair.

RRS has a small size 7 for $80 shipped with VIP and discount code. Might be hard to come by these online unless you find them on ebay.

Best bet would be searching/buying in person at Nike Factory Outlets. Random finds and deals to be had there.
 
Meh, Racers > those yellow trainers. Something about them doesnt look right. The racers have different tones of yellow in them, those racers look "flat".

Agreed. Their initial pics made them look like a solid cw, which is what I would've preferred. I like how the Racer's upper blended in with the upper midsole section too. The Trainers, on the other hand, have a contrast (from those pics above) between those parts, and I can't say that I'm a big fan of that...

"Meh"...high res photos make a difference. There's a good chance that the racer and trainer share he same knit/cw. I for one am not jumping to conclusions (calling them "flat") because of some low res iPhone 4 photos.

No point in doing so until we know for sure. Meaning until Nike releases the color code/description to compare to the Racers...and some high res photos wouldn't hurt.

The MC trainers look wack in my opinion. Those black lines and the blue stripe above the midsole kill the shoe. MC racers > MC trainers. To each their own, that's just my opinion
