So I got my very first racers today, tried them on with some loud socks and that's not a good idea with these cause they show right through :lol:

and do all racer boxes come like this it's like almost half cut out:

Also it looks like the Lucid Green's will be a summer drop as well.

Is this more of a "university red" or "infrared" or "bright crimson" or "crimson" color scheme?

I got a pair from @dopefactory  and the box came like yours.  I'm assuming it's a Nike EU thing.  All my Nike US purchases do not have that cut out.

I didn't get these from DF, got these from Niketown in the US not in EU. The box has a top lid to it also so not from outlet. I was thinking it is a display model cause I see a sticker on it with DIS and the rest of the sticker has been peeled off, so I'm thinking it said "DISPLAY". Well the kicks look fine, I gave them a quick look see :nerd: Thanks for all the info guys :nthat:

i have a few boxes that look the same, it varies...nike went cheap with the orange boxes a couple of years ago. my mc racers from NDC came that way. no need to worry about authenticity.

I've had myself talked into believing having 3 pairs of racers was more than enough....but these are bringing me back.


They are really doing awesome things with flyknits. They are doing things with this concept now that we were only fantasizing about when this thread began.

I'd be lying if I said those Lucid Greens aren't grabbing my attention. They look like a great pair of FK's for the summer.
 
Got my neo's but those darn MC racers keep eluding me and ebay prices for my size are unreal. If anyone knows of a DS or NDS pair for a reasonable price close to size 9 plz help a brother out. Thx!
 
Caved and copped a pair of the black/white trainers off of Ebay this morning...I've waited long enough to find a pair in 11.5 and summer is around the corner. Super excited to have them on feet.
