the orange pair looks insane. even if they were my size, i couldn't justify paying $1400.....or could i? haha.
 
wow only 50 pairs of those. i wonder why they chose to number them all 001 instead of x/50. it is or best offer though for that pair, so not necessarily $1400 haha. but my size, not yours.
japan again? jealous. retail will probably be $300+ though with the crappy exchange rate. maybe we should be making friends in italia, especially with the euro faltering.
 
looks like my usa pair has arrived but is at the post office. hopefully i can get there tonight and post the pics tomorrow. oh and yes the orange pair looks sick, they might have to file a restraining order to keep me away...

congrats man. when they dropped in japan, those seemed more popular than the trainers. i thought the white volt trainers blew those racers away, but they do look really good! so is the US track team gonna be sporting that colorway at the olympics or something?

apparently the us team will be wearing them at the opening ceremonies.  whether or not this is true remains to be seen.  
 
not claiming to have confirmed info, but a friend who is friends with a nike rep (lol) told me that flyknits are pretty much for the athletes this summer, contrary to the rumors they'd be more available to the public in the summer, and that general production/release isnt set to begin until 2013. it might be a long wait...
 
I was told that Nike will release the GR versions of both trainer and racer at the end of July, (to coincide with the Olympics I would imagine) but they may only be available at brick and mortar stores, and not at online retailers, at least initially.

Nike are weird.
 
Nikestore twitter said expect a release in the summer.

Nike harajuku is raffling all three. Kev, make friends there now, cuz you need a japan mailing address to enter the raffle.
 
^i want to say the same, but i know if i came across a pair of the orange racers in my size i would probably take the dive. i definitely cant wait to see what general release colorways they will come up with though...

True to size for the racer, but very narrow. not sure on the trainer, perhaps the same length but wider.

damn, the orange ones look sweet. but ya come on dude, three pairs is just stupid. same thing i said in the asics thread.
