Decided to buy the white/black/volt racers from rrs; first flyknit purchase in a while. Will be used for as beaters as well as running in the fall.

Mc to me is the best color and the most hyped, I don't own a pair and refuse to pay the assault prices folks are asking for a shoe that someone has worn numerous times or even worn til shoe is close to beater status, then charge $250 and more.
 
I have a pair of mc racers , Out of all my racers they get the least amount of wears. IMO they look good in pics but in hand they are dull and colors don't pop like they do on other CWs.
 
Question: 

When Nike does their "restock", do they necessarily restock all colorways and sizes or is that **** just random?

I don't want to drop $200 on a pair now only to have Nike restock these ***** by Christmas time.

Nike usually just puts a couple sizes up.  For the racers, other than restocks within the first month, they have only (from my memory) restocked FSR on the og volts, og orange, the university red, and the grey/black.  So depending on what color you are looking to buy, it is probably a long shot since the ones that they restocked were the first few colors of the racer... so they probably reigned back their production based on the first colors.

There are people on the forums who have painted their swooshes with no problems.  It depends on what kind of paint you use.  I think most of them use more of a dye than a paint.
