for me, the racers are flimsy and lack the support the trainers provide. with that said, the racers are naturally lighter. I've come to appreciate the minimalist nature of the racers. I've gone true to size on both, and that has fared well for me.

Thanks bro:smile: aight just ordered them volt racers off runnersroost.

I figured they would since that's how racing flats should be compared trainers. I am definitely on planning on training in these. Just a nice shoe to race casual 5ks in=P  thanks for the knowledge brother:smile:

What two shoes are you speaking of?

the lunar one and padded trainers essentially have the same upper. if it were up to me, I'd use the same upper for two shoes to further cut down on costs while popularity for trainers continues to grow. even the same laces were used for both shoes. I realize this is just a theory, but I'll persist it as long as the questions persist as to why padded trainers would be produced or if some other theory is brought to light.

Dude... are you kidding me?
He's messing around dude. At least i assume he is.
your theory is flawed, please do not persist it as fact.
where is the flaw? I'd love to hear your theory
Please we do not need any Divine Intervention explanation for some running shoes. Ppl have their opinions and leave it at that. This will spark the dumbest debate because in the end it will not solve anythings. Unless you guys start a petition to change them back, we just have to deal.

Trainer+ and Lunars Ones

the racer and the trainer had the same upper previously, so I can't imagine production costs varied significantly by switching. I agree more with the theory of consumer/runner feedback.

My go-to Trainers lately. Not padding= amazing in gym trainer! Do wish they would have left this line just be. Change happens for a reason though... And makes us appreciate originals  well at least the original GR batch. Volt and blue glow...

Would love to see some on feet shots of that CW if possible

I've slept on it for a minute. I've been unable to locate them as of yet, it seems the only ones around are the Blue / Electric Greens

I agree with what the other guy said. Trainers have a flatter sole and the Racers have that odd arch in the middle. Both feel fine for just walking around but Trainers seems to have more of a general use. I feel like the Racers if I was doing say line drills that I'd roll my ankle or something.
