I've seen people paint their tongues black and was wondering if anyone could give clear instructions on how to do it? I've searched online but but I haven't really found much information other than that people have used angelus paint. Any tips?

Also, anyone know how to paint the sides of the trainers black as well? I want to do this to my trainers minus the Volt touches

Shout out to my dude Luong for the connect gang.

Anytime!

I just cleaned my Volt trainers. I'll be posting some pics up soon - If it matters, I used the Jason Markk solution and brush.

These look incredible. :wow: :wow: :wow:!

Anyone that has a sz 12 of the FK Trainer+ Multi and doesn't want them. Hit me up. I'll give you what you paid, plus pay for freight, and throw in my 20% code for RRS if you do not want your pair

Figured it doesn't hurt to ask

Thanks

Mine arrived yesterday. Excellent pair, although I prefer the sporadic upper of the Racers a bit better.

PM me if anyone has a sz 10 Volt Racer they are willing to dump. Been too late every time they pop up

had a sz 10 i sent back to runners roost, they sent me the wrong sz... i would give them a call tomorrow morning they have pretty solid customer service

Here are the before and after pictures of the dirty/cleaned photos of the Flyknit Volts; as mentioned I used the Jason Markk solution/brush:

My thoughts:
- Works well to get the dirt out
- Being that the FK material is really sensitive, it MAY cause it to become "furry"
- It worked well with the suede on my black/red 4s though

That look like the regular brush. It's quite coarse. If you are going to use it on FK and suede I would get the premium brush.

Personally, I'm fine with it - It's just for others who prefer something finer.

I put a lot of wear into my FKs; definitely don't baby them . I clean it once in a while just to have them look nice again.

If I remember correctly, KVN mentioned in the Lunar FK1 thread that he painted his tongues with a watered down Angelus. I suppose you could do the flywire on the side with a ton of patience and a steady enough hand.

The multi-TRAINER was never on NDC. Only the racer and lunar. I know it's an easy mistake but after all this time I would think people would know the difference between the models/names.

So far the trainers have only been for sale online on roadrunner as far as the US goes. I've seen one thing that led me to believe they might have shown up on Euro NDC but that's it.

Be patient people, they will show up at more places. You'll need to act fast, but there's no reason to be so worried about it. The racers are the version with the most hype
