I really do wonder what happened to all the sizes above 9.5 on the MC Trainers though? :nerd:

Well what I realized is the sizing is available as if they're women's trainers, just like the blue/pink trainers they added as well. If you convert the sizes to women's it's a size 5.5 - 11, the normal size run for a women's shoe.

Although they're unisex from Nike I think RRS ordered them as a women's shoe...I pray they were just playing it safe & Nike actually made men's sizes(at least a men's size 10).
I've had my eye on those trainers so long, I'd have to kill Nike if they didn't make my size.

*waits patiently for other sites to get the multicolor pack, hopes for the trainer to release in a 12 or 13*

Yikes... RR messed up... my order for the MC racers got cancelled because I had actually ordered an out of stock item - but sizes were still showing... apparently it takes an hour or so for their website to update.. so my order was processed & confirmation email was sent to me(!) even though they were sold out of the product... ugh, that's annoying.

Hopefully they'll be available on other sites? Blaaaaaaaaaah.
When did you order?

When did you order?

2:17 PM EST for a sz 9, was my second order

(I messed up in the first place, so some of it is my fault - first ordered at 11:20 AM EST, but that got cancelled quick because I put in the wrong billing address for my credit card - accidentally put my U.S.A. freight forwarding address instead of my home address)

Hope it doesn't happen for anyone else, I'd check your online order history just to make sure, that's how I found out, they didn't send a cancellation email or anything

If that's the case, I hope everyone gets their correct sizes. :nerd:

I think you might be onto something there. The Pink Trainer on RRS stops at 9.5, but Run.com has the Pink Trainers all the way up to a 13.

The sizes up on RRS are the correct men's sizes. They list the trainers as unisex and list the sizes as men's sizes. RRS did the same with the pink FK trainers too. Men's sizes were produced but they only stocked the regular women's size run.

just a heads up for those on the fence about pulling the proverbial trigger: a pre-order bought today for the multi trainers won't ship till sept 4. rrs replied to my tweet that I bought from their second shipment due to go out in sept.

also they may get multi racers back for pre-orders depending if they get allocated more. so stay tuned. if not here, then follow kicksdeals- they get the word out quick.

Order on the racers got canceled

Ordered a size 9 at around noon yesterday. Billing and shipping was all good so idk what happened

Will be on the lookout for other sites carrying the multicolors

they may have exceeded orders for the amount allocated. tweet them. they reply

is the sizing on racers tts? i actually have only had trainers and lunars.

I've never tried racers on. I love my trainers to death. is the fit similar? because the forefoot/balls of the foot appear to be closer to the ground on the racer. I like the multi racer, but can't bring myself to get them solely based of aesthetic and if they fit drastically different than the trainers.

Odd they must have gotten a smaller allocation of sz9 in the racers. I didn't order till 9pm est last night and both trainers and racers are good to go according to customer service. I'm a sz 10.5 though so they may have just gotten more of that particular size.

It is a drastic difference, IMO.

I over-pronate so the Racers just don't work for me.  My foot just moves inward way too much.  The trainers are more stable, albeit still a "neutral" shoe, and I wear them just fine with no pronation issues (bear in mind I don't run in these at all--strictly casual. I run in LG4s). The Racers are a performance neutral with no support.

So if your foot is fairly neutral and you don't pronate, then you should be fine.  I love the racers, it just sucks I can't wear them.

Also I've found the Racers to fit .5 size bigger than the Trainers (super thin socks in trainers).  Racers are TTS for me and trainers are .5 size down. Hope that helps a bit.  There isn't much discussion here about stability for these shoes.

that's exactly what I was fearing. I have normal pronation, but I alternate how my foot lands- heel first to conserve energy and coast, vs forefoot when I'm doing sprints.

the only reason I considered the racers is for when I run balls of the foot first because the look of the shoe appears condusive to that. I guess I just wish the multi trainers look like the multi racers

Just wait then.  These are only the first of many MCs.  I don't like any of the first ones coming out, but more will definitely come.  In fact the only new colors I like that are coming out are the Navy Blue Trainers--but that's mainly because of my love for navy blue (and obsidian).

for sure. the solid-looking colorways are somewhat a breath of fresh air. just wish they kept the laces the same.

whats the talk about a new padded area around ankle of the trainers?? Is that different from last years drop?

last years drop had little to no padding in the ankle are. The restock a have been a toss up at best whether you get padding or not. Also the one with padding have the ribbon laces which most people seem to dislike.

Peaple are saying to size up on the ones with padding. Mine are all unloaded, so I have no first hand experience.

Thanks for the explanation. Added padding seems to defeat the purpose of the "minimalist" feel of the shoe. kinda a deal breaker for me, as I really like the "no padding" of the first runs- racers and trainers. IN retrospect, I should have doubled up on both volt racers and orange trainers. My 1st run racers definitely have the "ribbon-ish" dark green/black laces though- flattish that is, and not round.

^ I might be wrong but I think it's only the trainers that are getting the padding. Also the new ribbon laces are completely flat. basically just a strip of nylon.
