They look good! I gotta do my orange racers...i think the steaming will eliminate the little creasing and bring it together tighter in the toebox area. Thanks for sharing!

I agree with the shoes being beautiful. For me, the padding is not a deal breaker my any means.

Okay guys, here are some pics of my steamed Volt Racers for those who are curious. The iPhone camera couldn't really capture the color of the Volts, but whatever.
I've worn them a few times since steaming. As you can probably tell the shape isn't any different, the fit is much better however.

Yep! Steamed for about 15 minutes and threw them on. The knit is still very tight even after wear, could not be happier with the result.
I'm going to steam my trainers tomorrow, hopefully it comes out just as good!

I did the steaming for 30 seconds i guess the results are the same. Don't think they need to be steamed that long

lol dont even start comparing them to the mint fb's. we don't need a brand new hype train for the Flyknit's.
Roshe's price point is a major reason for its success. Flyknit's are a different animal in itself.

Nope nothing yet but of RRS is shipping them out in July I assume sometime in early July will be the RD
On other news: thanks to our debate on the no padded vs padded and ribbon vs oval laces eBay listing are now making it known they are the "non-padded" version. With the $150+ price hike, to bad they WON'T be getting $300+ from me for that nonsense

Wrong thread, but i'd thought i'd point out an interesting procedure someone performed on their FK Chukkas. Luckily none of the flywires in the Trainers or Racers are as off-putting as the Volt on the Obsidian Chukkas.

that takes out any support at all that the Chukka's have, although it probably doesn't do much considering it's a casual shoe.
