Oooh...if it were $200 shipped i'd definitely do it. Paying a bit over retail for an out of production CW is a rational purchase. Especially cause the blue glows are gorgeous.

It's going to be interesting to see what path Nike chooses to take with Flyknits. Will they update them in a series format (Trainer/Racer 1, 2, 3, etc...)?

I personally hope they don't retro old CWs (Blue Glow, Uni Red, Volt, White, etc) and instead stick to the Lunarglide series model. Keep moving forward with new CWs, new designs and don't turn Flyknits into AMs or Jordan Brand.

I never had the OG pair of the trainers but I wish they still had them without the padding.  I got the volt racers the day they came out because of how they formed to your ankle. I then got the lunar flyknits earlier this year and wasn't a big fan of the padding but figured it was just how the shoe was made.  I recently got a pair of the chukkas and love how they also form to your foot similar to the racer.  If the older trainers were like this too, I would love a pair.  I picked up a black and white pair of the trainers and they have the padding.  Its not a deal killer, but like the thinner look of the shoe with shorts and no padding. 
 
Sorry about starting the padded/non padded fiasco. Ended up picking up the red racers from running warehouse. Got it for $135 with 2 day shipping with the coupon code runblog10. Great deal and can't wait for my first pair of flyknits!

Its like all the New listings for the Volts. Somebody really got 5 pairs and wants like 275 for them. As long as we don't pay these dumb prices we will all be able to enjoy the flyknits because prices will stay reasonable.

I had just heard that the non padded ones were the comfier alternitave (my feet blister like it's its job) and come with the round laces. Padded or not, I'm pumped for my first flyknits to come!

My Electric Green trainers just came in today, and to my surprise the Lunars are a LOT more comfortable imo. Btw mine came with the original laces and I can't tell if they're padded or not. There's a tiny bit of padding but not much at all. I may have to return them however, but is it possible to keep the laces?

You can easily tell padded from nonpadded. I the laces thing idk if you can do that. The lunges are more comfortable because they have a legit all around sole.

I would bet they are unpadded if you have the original laces.

I really appreciate this photo specifically. First time i've seen, been able to compare the Blue Glow/Black beside the Turquoise/Grey.

Would you mind taking a comparison photo of ONLY those 2 Trainers?

Been thinking about those, too. But I pulled the trigger on the Grey Racers.

Yeah that boat sailed a long time ago on the blue glows, with shipping they were like $220 so I passed....and I agree, I'd hate to see the Flyknit line go the way of JB.  They should keep progressing and drop new colors and designs like you said and no retros.....
 
I wonder when we'll start seeing some other updates/new models. I'm still interested to see the Flyknit Frees. Have to imagine they are going to make some tweaks to the trainers and racers at some point but I'm surprised we haven't seen anything else.

Laces look awesome man. When the Red racers came out i thought they were going to be my first flyknt, but then i saw the red trainers

Hey guys, I ordered a half size up because I have wide feet but I've been experiencing these kinds of creases. Will steaming help with this?

Yes it would help as I did the same with my blue glows. I also went. 5 size up. Just evenly stream it for about 15- 30 secs depending on your preference.
 
^^that's how Flyknits are, they form to your foot and crease in between your toes, but steaming might help a little.
