eeps lack the oversight of any restocks, and they wouldn't be inclined to tell you even if they did know. they may hint at a restock, but they're certainly not obligated to. All they have is what's in their system. A totally different department determines stock replenishments.

there are many pros and cons to not announcing replenishments/new product vs. bot city & 8am est tlo. either complain and focus on the negatives and why it makes life hard. or do something constructive like focusing on alternatives. on to the next one
These are general release shoes.  I am not talking about the latest and greatest limited release of the weekend here.  I can understand the derision of offering info on firm restocks for those.  Reps should be aware, and should alert a customer, that a restock is pending when it's going to happen mere hours later.  I don't see any pro for feeding the customer no information at best and misinformation at worst.  I consider that pretty awful customer service.

so basically Nike is failing if we all ask reps if/when a restock will occur, specifically if in the upcoming hours?

While I wait on my MC racers I figured I would pull these out today......

Why would they even know that a restock is happening? You think they are given that information all the time?

No I don't, and that's what my original comment was.  Nike needs to improve their system (this may not even be fiscally possible/responsible, but it is something that I feel is hurting their customer support).  Somebody somewhere in the system knows that a restock is coming 24 hours out.  Probably several days out.  If they had better monitoring of inventory they wouldn't be saying things like "that shoe is competely sold out at all retailers" and they would be able to see "oh we had a surplus unsold from retailers that is currently being returned to our warehouse."

I didn't think this would be such a contentious post.

restocks come from shipping/receiving which is separate from the online store which is separate from their online rep service, although there should be some communication between the 3.

I placed an order for 9.5s yesterday. To my surprise, I woke up to an order confirmation from RRS stating a July 6 ship date.

Looking at the pics of the MC Racer on IG, there are noticeable differences between pairs. Check out how pink this one pair's toe is. People are saying the MC Lunars are also each unique but due to the pixelated design, I don't think anyone will notice/care. I personally wouldn't want this pink toe pair but I'm digging the variations.

I did the same. I was not only surprised that I got a confirmation but that the ship date was July 6th.

As for sizing. I am a 9.5 in almost everything. Flyknit Ones and Trainers I am a 9. They are tight a first but stretch and mold to my feet after a few wears. The initial release of the Racers, I bought both colors, but wasnt too hyped on them since I had Volt Trainers I returned them. They also were a little snug, but I didnt wear them out of the house. Hopefully the 9.5 I bought in the racers will not be too big.

My question is does anybody have pairs of both the padded and un-padded trainers? Do they fit the same? I like a snug fit and own non-padded Trainers in a 9. Im thinking of gambling on the 9.5 pair on RRS just in case there do turn out as limited and hard to find.

Heads up to those that missed out on the Volt Racer restock on NDC. RRS shows the Volt Racers on the main page when searching for Flyknits but once you select the Racers, the Volt does not show up as an option. Keep checking and maybe they will be available. I dont know if it has been mentioned that the White Racers are available on RRS as well.

With the exception if one person, they fit exactly the same

Hahahahaha I'm assuming you're talking about me. I'm a 10 in trainers and a 10.5 in everything else because I wear my trainers barefoot. When I put a sock on, it's too snug. That's pretty much the only reason why. So it should be the same fit if you wear them the same way.

Edit. I should note that I won't wear padded trainers sockless. Just doesn't feel right. The non-padded is far more conducive to barefoot use. Another reason why I got different sizes.

I think you'll be fine with the 9.5.

Would anyone be willing to help me and ship out a pair of the MC Racers in size 8 internationally ? I'll pay everything including shipping. PM me if interested.
