I like how they were cheering "Halfman!  Halfman!  Halfman!".  Reminded me of when the crowd would chant The Rock's name.
Podrick is a loyal squire and had his back.  He murked that guy with the spear like it was nothing.

I kinda forgot who wore those kind of helmets.  I was confused watching it.  Thanks for reminding me.

This was the first episode that only focused on one location.  Looks like they crammed a lot of stuff in the finale.  I wish they would've made it 1 1/2 hours.

Great, great great episode. Everything was well done.

Epic

Quick question - Stanis "son" wasn't around because his hand advised Stanis to leave Melisandre behind, thus leaving the demon son behind too?

The episode that aired yesterday didnt quite live up to the hype for me. Also Joffrey is a +%*%$ for running away the imp was putting in work until he got sliced and Sansa and the hound is awww what can it be? And stannins just goofed up try a go HAM all by yourself straight stupid.

i think the demon's are, in NT terms, quickstrikes. Meaning that they are "born," perform their duty and are gone.
Spoiler [+]
In the book, the demon that killed Renly appeared before the one that Davos saw being born. The one Davos saw killed the castellan of Storm's End. That is how Stannis retook Storm's End in the book.

Wow! That was incredible...I could probably watch it again a bunch of times this week, so much replay value because there was so much going on. Even the actor playing Joffrey was killing it, he is great at that role

GREAT episode! The battle is still more epic in the book but I know budget restraints didn't allow the execution of it's full on screen potential. Loved the way Stannis led the charge though! No damns given

Guess they decided to cut out the part about the under water chain fence. Plus am I the only one who pictured the battle taking place during the day? Maybe I missed something. Mad that Tyrion's band of misfits didn't get more air time as well.

Timett Son of Timett

Hopefully they make Tyrion's face as messed up as it is in the book next season cause if I'm not mistaken he got hit in the face with a spiked mace in the book right?

Yeah, my memory sucks but I think Davos said people would always say that the Red Priestess would be the reason he won the crown.  His own men most of all.  It would be hard to respect him as king.  He should've just said eff it and brought her for the guaranteed victory.

This episode was straight beast.I've always liked the hound, but in this episode, my respect for him just sky rocketed. "F*** the knights guard, F*** the city, and F*** the king!"

Yeah was that Joffrey's intent the whole time? to have his uncle murdered in the battle?
