ohhh...so he sacrificed himself...thank you. All makes sense now. I was wondering what was going on there, thought I must have missed something earlier.

When Sansa was about to be raped and the hound came in and saved her, I noticed a mistake too..

When the hound picks the guy up by the throat, you see his hand come off of his throat and go back on real quick. You can tell that the guy is standing on something.

I am also confused with the winterfell part..

Robb said any iron islander that surrenders may return home, with the exception of Theon..

I figured they gave him up in order to escape safely...

Theon said that he seen himself that he was surrounded, so somebody was there..

Yea plus they also know that John is the son of Edd Stark, therefore he might be valuable to Mance Rayder. He also proved that he wants to join the wildings by slaying Qhorin. They would killed them both anyway and Qhorin knew this. The wildings are also "free" people, they take pretty much anyone and their heirarchy is almost non existent.

Interesting season. Will they ever go into more detail about Braavos? I find Arya's storyline the most enjoyable. Her's and Daenerys

Probably gonna be the season finale or at least near the end of season 4 too

. Don't know if I can wait 2 years to see "that" portrayed on the show.

The Other / White Walker looked like a Dothraki ice monster.
Disappointed that Tyrion only has that scar.  It's supposed to be way more gruesome.

My favorite scenes were Dani's being in the throne room and seeing Khal Drago again

.  But then they had Sam's scene and that was my favorite part.  So epic.  I like how the leader just looked at Sam and kept it moving.

Anyone else reminded of Dany's plot for the Unsullied when you saw the dragons chained up and she spoke the word?
Great episode. I think they botched the Jon vs Halfhand thing. Too many people asking questions about what happened. And lets be real if I didn't read the book I wouldn't know either. Speaking on the JvsH, Where is Ghost?

#WHEREISMYDIREWOLF

Not introducing a certain character to Theon's story also made this episode a tad bit confusing for those who don't read the books but that scene with the speech was great.

And yeah The Hound is gone. He left King's Landing. Honestly it makes noooooo sense for Sansa to stay. At least in the book she was frightened of The Hound when he asked her to leave cause he was drunk and damn near broke her arm

I didn't expect them to do the Jaqen face change.

And no that wasn't Benjen Stark on the horse at the end. Did look like him tho.

Most confusing part of the episode. What did he say right before he died?

Some reason my Father understood what was going on....
He said "We are the watchers on the wall."

The Jon Snow and Qhorin part wasn't THAT confusing. Qhorin explained what he was going to do two episodes ago when Jon was like "They died because of me" and Qhorin replied "See that it wasn't for nothing."

Then later

Qhorin: "Mance is going to march on the wall. When he does, one brother inside his army will be worth 1,000 fighting against him."
Jon: "They'll never trust me."
Qhorin: "They might. If you do what needs to be done."

Qhorin was a dead man no matter what.  Jon might have been used as a hostage or executed alongside Qhorin as a display for the Wildlings (because he's Ned Stark's son) but Qhorin wanted him to infiltrate their group so he accused Jon of being a traitor then had Jon kill him (a big deal since he's one of the Watch's highest ranking leaders and seriously feared by the Wildlings) to convince them he'd turned. Ygritte seems to be crushing on Jon hard and Rattleshirt despised Qhorin so that's all they needed to see.

Great explanation man.  This is kinda what i thought but i never connected the dots that he was supposed to infiltrate the wildlings tribe and like help the watch when they get to the wall or something.

I rarely like season finale's on HBO but i was actually cool with this one.  Sucks we have to wait so long for next season but it is set up well.

Yeah, Ned Stark and the House of Stark have a long history with battling the Wildlings.  That speech Ygritte made to Jon explained why they hate Southerners so much.  The Free Folk have always been there and the Southerners (everyone beyond the wall) think they are so much better than them.  Brandon The Builder (Stark ancestor) built the Wall to keep them out.
