Teams that will never be title contenders

Who are some teams that you feel, or can't envision, ever being title contenders?

NBA- Warriors
Outside of beating the Mavs 5 years ago, it doesn't seem like they've been in the playoffs while I've been alive.

NFL- ********
They've won Super Bowls when I was young, but have only 2 playoff appearances since their last division title in '99.  They overspend on players and I don't see them climbing out the NFC East basement anytime soon.

MLB- Orioles
With the Yankees and Red Sox in their division, it'll be tough just to get a wildcard spot.

In the NBA all you need is to draft well. Look at the Thunder. LBJ all by him self turned the cavs in a title contender.

I learned my lesson last year NBA wise. Dallas just didn't look like it'd ever win a title with the teams Cuban was putting together and I was arguing that Dirk shouldn't have resigned with them since for the most part they're choke artists. Then they come through in story book fashion to beat the Heat.

There's a lot of teams in all of sports that are just managed badly and/or have terrible owners. Can't say they'll never win a title since the GMs and owners will not be their forever.

to an extent this is correct.  but small market teams are at a disadvantage for the fact that they have a shorter window to put things together then big market teams to.   for every selfless team player like kevin durant who's willing to extend his contract early and stick it out with that small team which is ran well, there's 5 or 6 other players in small markets more worried about their brand and the benifits of being in a big market so they refuse to offer any signs of commitment which makes it tough for those teams to sign good players and time is always their enemy.
