is big k.r.i.t one of the g.o.a.t (serious questions)

he cant really have an impact because he sounds like a bunch of old southern artists... you have to bring something new

G.reatest O.f A.ll T.IME

im so serious when i say it. i was drunk as hell when i made that post, had dudes music full blast with the EQs heavy on the bassline
u cant deny ALL 3 of his releases were CLASSIC
i think dude has def made an imprint in the game even though he's not that popular yet
and i KNOW dude is here to stay, this man has innovated and brought life back to rap
not just southern rap, but rap all together

come at me

j cole is definitely not better than krit..thats why he has the man on tour with him.."cant beat em join em"

I wanna hear Adele and Krit perform hometown hero live..now that joint would crush 2012

Huge Big KRIT fan...he is one of the best doing it right now, you cant deny that. Kid is super talented with the beats, subject matter, and just keeping it real.

If it wasnt for certain factors in the rap game right now and cultural stereotypes...KRIT would have way more recognition then he does and be more popular across the board.

With that being said, all 3 of KRIT's albums have been released freely which have turned out great for us fans, but at the same time it may turn out to be quite the spoiler.

The samples he uses to craft the near flawless beats he makes for his albums dont have to be cleared...so it will be interesting to see what kinda product we get when clearance issues come into play...ala Live From the Underground.

And far as rapping goes...he has room for improvement. He can try different flows and witty and clever lines more. I know thats not his thing per say but it wouldnt hurt to add it to his portfolio. I mean correct me if im wrong but i dont think he has a gang of records we can point out where he is just spazzin.... but ayy neither does Kanye and we see how things have turned out for him.

This is my favorite freestyle of his tho....the kid can spit

I swear i have never skipped a track off of any of his tapes. He is nice, he is insightful, i dont care if he ever becomes the "greatest" (although he could). I just hope he never loses himself, and keeps making HIS music

KRIT is the best most complete new artist out right now. Nobody touches him. In terms of purely music/artistry, him and
Kendrick Lamar are head and shoulders above every other new rapper out, even the one's "who aren't considered rappers".

Keys words, most complete artist out right now.
***EDIT: "u cant even name 10 artists from the south that have released more heat than him in the last 3 years. u can exclude all the old heads and the new old head (the TI's Jeezy's Luda's)...their spots are solidified. Im talkin bout cats on the come up or in their beginning of their career...no more than 2 albums in. KRIT is def in the mix...how can u deny that?"

Word, there's nobody you could even compare him to with those factors taken out.

what artists are doing something completely unoriginal? don't worry I'll wait...

But to answer the question, no, definitely not GOAT. My favorite out right now though.

For the "he only has 3 mixtapes (albums but whatever) out" responses, Biggie is considered the best off of 2 albums. Defend that.
