He wore The Air Flight Ones in the 1995 Playoffs against the Magic. They were technically Penny's shoe but they weren't the Air Penny's. And he wore them because he was going to receive a fine for wearing the white/black XI's. The Bulls, as a team were wearing primarily black shoes. So for one game he wore the black Air Flight Ones. The last two games in that series he wore the infamous Space Jams.
That series was pretty memorable. Not because the Bulls lost in six, but MJ switched back to #23 in that series, and also broke out the XI's for the first time!
