I appreciate music's need to evolve and change, but I am having a seriously hard time accepting the current direction of hip hop.
General and S&T have one, so i figured it couldnt hurt for Music to as well.
 
Not to hate, but this thread should've stayed in General only... But I'll participate...

Agreed OP. Looked on WSHH this morning and saw a video of
Tyga's frail &$@# called &@#% better have my money. This
is the CB4 generation.

I LOVE the Dips, but I can see how others wouldnt, but that was just a great era for rap.  On another hand, I think Kendrick can spit like crazy, but I cant stand most of his songs
 
Deadmau5,Kaskade,SHM,Tiesto,Guetta,Avicii and all these other big artists right now are alright but House was really in it's prime from '97-'01 imo. All the dope stuff coming out from everywhere at the same time was just amazing. Nothing beats back then.

Was having a major nostalgia trip earlier listening to some old Armaan van Halden,St Germain,Modjo and Daft Punk. Bringing it back to much simpler times.

I havent gone out of my way to find any new reggae bc i dont particularly like the genre.  Although my boy has this Rebeloution cd that I dont mind listening to in his car, but i would never want to listen to it by choice

all I wanna listen to is Dipset and dipset/araabmuzik sounding stuff. its like I literaly camt tolerate anything else

I LOVE Cams BOAB series, Writers last couple mixtapes and Rugers last couple mixtapes. But 40s mixtapes have been GARBAGE latley. His lil dude Young A$e mixtape had more songs I bump.

I want a double disc Dip Cd with everybody except Jha Jha and that whack @%! dude who rapped on that song Melanin on DipImm 2. only producers I want are araabMUZIK, clams casino,G14,Just blaze, alchemist, and maybe the dramatiks if they can manage to make a hot beat and not that same whack %%$$ they be givin to a mafia all the time

if juelz dont release a mixtape or album or anything this year he needs to give up

WayOut by Ambitieux is a hot song even tho the lyrics are in french. I first heard it years ago on a dipset eurogang mixtape

New favorite Dip songs....Killa, Gunz n Butta, Throw it Up, Get Right

Get Right and Gunz n Butta gotta be the most epic songs in the history of mankind

I love A-Mafia, he is so consistent because he is so one dimensional and only has one flow, but he spits and makes good music, i aint mad at him.
 
Peep_Game is a big MGK fan but he feels he would get flamed if he admitted it.
