As awesome as this is and will be, it saddens me. Im in no means broke, but the opening of the stadium will mark the end of my season tickets. Have had season tickets for 16 years and been going to at least 3-4 games a year for over 20 years. I just dont have $80,000 for a seat license. Looks amazing though. Just sucks for the average fan.

Wow I just read up on the seat licence scam and how anyone could support the construction of this stadium which the 49ers organization is funding by gouging the *#$# out of the average fan is beyond me. $20,000-$80,000  just to be able to have the ability to buy a season ticket!? Any when you dont want season tickets anymore you can try and sell the licence (for much less I'm sure considering their price points quoted by the club) but if you dont/cant sell it and dont buy season tickets you lose your licence back to the club and are SOL. What a joke.

Check out this post on 49erswebzone. It includes scans of a brochure sent out to current season ticket owners regarding the new stadium. I, for one, was not all that impressed with the outisde design, but I htink it's going to be an amazing stadium inside

I've been to that area a few times, that stadium design and the amenities fit that area.
 
Being that its in the heart of Silicone Valley, my mind is far from blown. I was expecting so much more.
 
I read that the builders have tons of incentives for completing on time or earlier
