Did Bron sell the shoe or did the shoe sell the shoe?

The HOH colorways started it all for the Kobe and Lebron lines

Has there been that many HOH Kobe and Lebron shoes this year? Seems like everything has been on ndc

Nike pretty much stopped releasing HOH exclusive colorways

When Nike was releasing majority GR pairs with no special colorways, nicknames or school affiliations the Kobe/Lebron lines weren't moving like they are now.

It started around the Kobe IV and Lebron V and has been gaining momentum since.

This. I'm not a Lebron fan, but the shoe and colors were great.

you guys are telling me that if everything else was the absolute same (colors released and whatnot), but these were NOT a lebron shoe and were called something like nike hyperlunarflies or something, that these would still sell even remotely as well as they did?

I can say that I think the 9s are %!+!%+% sick, and I would love to buy a few pairs (Freegums, Swingman) but I could never rock a pair because I'm a Cavs fan first and a sneakerhead second.

Here's something I haven't seen brought up: The Lebron VIs look fairly similar to the IXs. I don't see people paying crazy prices for the VIs.
