Air Max Flyposite (#!%$ just got ugly)

Earlier today we brought you news of the new Nike Air Max Flyposite previewed by Gentry Humphrey. Recently we have learned some new info about shoe courtesy of the folks over at Counter Kicks. The shoe is a casual take on the Nike Zoom Flyposite, a cleated football shoe. As is the process with many of the products in the Nike stable, the performance model has been re-imagined for Nike Sportswear, and retains many of the aesthetic design of the original. One major difference is that an Air Max unit now sits below, a welcomed change to the previous Nike Zoom. Pricing said to be at $185 with the release based on the information below:

I actually like the look of the football cleat... but the problem is that they had to slap on that bulky 360/2009 outsole on it.

A Zoom 2k4-esque or Zoom BB sole on this would have actually been decent.

The problem is, the shoe design is much more sooted for a football field than anywhere else.

Agreed.
I actually really liked the cleat.
Nike should've used a lower profile/slimmer air unit something like the air unit on the Air Max 97, or hell they should've used lunar/zoom combo.

same i own about 5 pairs of the cleats. maybe if the would of put a sole set up similar to the fp1 it might work as a sneaker

I agree... this should have been best suited for a cross trainer of some sort.  
By the way.. G took Jordan to new places..... Revenue wise.. check the stats.... its actually not doing as well since he left.  Also.. G doesnt design... lol..... everyone misses every now and again... I think Nike Sportswear hits as much as it misses....

Remember those Foamposite Galaxy's everyone crapped on... how much are they reselling for again?
