OK he may not have designed these but he was definitly involved either in their conceptual stage or their approval and that makes him at least partly responsible for these abortions

Dont get me wrong... the concept is cool.. execution doesnt do it for me either.... but I guess I am jaded cuz I've taken a step back years ago and realized...
Each designer has alot of designs they are responsible for in a season let alone a calendar year. When you look at the whole... every shoe isnt for every person and some shoes are for anyone.... but rarely is ANY shoe a hit with EVERYONE.
There will be misses and Nike and Nike designers know that...
Most designers will tell you. If you like a shoe cool.. they appreciate it.. but if you dont. Explain why... because that information helps them become not only informed but aware next time they go through their design process.
Also.. the other half of that is... many shoe designs ARE changed by the Design Director or Design Manager in every category and how it started aint how it began.. so Im sure they put this design on many outsoles and decided on this one.
Why? I'll never know. I think it needs a slimmer tooling to go with the upper. Again.. Not sure what this shoe is meant for? Strictly style, Basketball? None of the above?

In Philly i been seeing fake AJXIII,fake AJIX, and a boat load of other fakes with the AM2009 sole , and these remind me of those fakes i been seeing. i wanted to cop the Flyposite to train on grass with but i reeeeeally not feelin these. these are wack...

LMAO what makes this even funnier to me is that I was on Craigslist in the Philly area a few months ago and I saw a dude selling these super fake looking altitude cw jordan XIII fusions with a AM2009 sole like u said for like 160
And then more recently my friends cousin was hype that he got some jordans so he posted a pic of them on facebook but they were really jus fake black cement 3s with a AM2009 sole smh lmao

^ Any low-profile midsole/outsole would work... I just don't get it... did Nike mistakenly order too many of these airbags???
And it's not just for the Flyposites... IMO, the Max JR's and Fury's would have been a helluva lot better had it not been the outsole.

idk about the Jr's....i liked those but definitely was bulky, probably would've copped either way.
the Fury's DEFINITELY needed a different setup...even the emerald cw which i like is horrible with that 360 unit.
four years later and they're still milking the $#!t out of those 360 units

The 2009 outsole has become the staple of fakes in the past 2 or 3 years.
It's gotten to the point where there were all red Griffey Furys out months before PICTURES of the Emeralds even came out.
It's a shame too, because the Anodized Griffey joints with the Sprite CW and the Emerald CW look dope until you hit the sole.
But I can't touch anything with a 2009 sole because in my eyes, they just represent fakes.
Nike should stop using it for a while and come up with something new...Innovate...
