Was just thinking this, especially if you're on est or cst time. If they drop at 8am you'll have to choose one or the other....or be in line and try your cell phone at the same time.

this is really good now people have to choose either between going to the store or trying online and not doing both ending up with 4-6 pairs to resell. resellers are slowly gonna have to change their fake profession.

best case scenario there will be less traffic and it won't be impossible to cop online..doubt that though

most likely you will start seeing the eastbay website crash now due to all the greedy people still wanting to cop 2 pairs online at midnight and then line up and cop 2 more. snakes always find a away around something.

I beleive they associated midnight with crime activity. It's a fact that crime is more likely to happen at night than during the day. So it only makes sense to ban midnight releases...

never went to a midnight release but heard they were somtimes worse than camping out. These rules arent going to last long most of them i would say

so true, at first the midnight thing made no sense but now a whole plan of action is going into effect. definitely will cut down on the resellers its either online or in store. good thing i live 2 mins from a mall haha i can missout online then goto store still lol

THAT RANDOM TIME AFTER 8AM IS SO CLUTCH FOR PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF WHO WORK ON A COMPUTER ALL DAY AT WORK. SINCE I GOT TO BE ON MY COMPUTER ANYWAY, MIGHT AS WELL PULL UP TWITTER AND NIKE.COM AND KEEP IT ON CONSTANT REFRESH WHILE I WORK AND BECAUSE THE TIME IS RANDOM HOPEFULLY THAT MEANS LESS STRESS ON THE SERVERS FROM EVERYONE KNOWING EXACTLY WHEN THEY WILL DROP.

yes I want to know the answer to this as well
with me it makes it even harder for me to get kicks now I work on Saturday @6:30 am and sometimes 7 if im lucky
nobody really has time waiting online for mike.com to put something online with no set time so to me it basically opens up the flood gates for the retailers that sell them early for an extra $150 because an easy option of getting them is gone now
