*UPDATE 6/27/15*.......Legend of Korra OFFICIAL THREAD..........MIGHT BE GETTING A NEW AIRBENDER SER

NICKELODEON PULLS UPCOMING LEGEND OF KORRA EPISODES
Book Three's remaining episodes likely to premiere at a later date.

After a half season of low ratings, Nickelodeon has reportedly removed five episodes of The Legend of Korra from its schedule.

Though the series has garnered plenty of praise from fans and critics, the third season (or Book Three) of the Avatar: The Last Airbender spin-off has produced below average viewership numbers for the network. As a result, kids TV news site NICKandMORE reports that one episode from this Friday and four from August 1 and 8 have been pulled from Nickelodeon's programming, though Episode 8 “The Terror Within” is still scheduled to air this Friday at 8pm ET/PT.

While Korra fans may worry that this news signals an imminent cancellation, it should be noted that Nickelodeon has already ordered a fourth season.

It is currently unknown when the missing five episodes will finally debut, but fans will presumably learn more at Nickelodeon's Legend of Korra panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday.

:smh: :smh: :smh:

**** these networks. They have no ******* idea what it is that their viewers want

Remember when CN cancelled Young Justice because they didn't sell enough toys?

Man what?? Maybe just maybe, its the MIDDLE OF JULY and people are outside on Fridays at 8 cause its sunny out. Comparing that to ratings that you got on Saturday at 10 A.M.......

Good point about it being summer.
It's also the Netflix effect. I haven't watched a single episode this season. I'm waiting for the season to finish so that I can binge watch it in a couple of sessions.

Both Netflix, and the internet in general. I've watched every single episode so far, but none of them have been on Nickelodeon, and the same goes for the past seasons. And Young Justice as well, since someone mentioned it previously. They need to learn that the ratings game has changed when the internet's accessible to kids of all ages.

And here i'd nearly forgotten about that. That show was excellent man, everything a Spider-Man show should be. Then they replace it with Ultimate Spider-Man? :smh:

Then there was Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes, though the new one's not terrible.

I haven't even watched the new avengers
The one they cancelled was great though
Not alot of filler episodes
Great stories that tied into the overall season arc
Show was on point
Maaaaan only cartoons I really watch now are adventure time and regular show

So much real talk in here about the Internet, Netflix and the ratings game. Networks are letting great shows go by the wayside because of their adherence to an obsolete system. I think that if shows like BTAS, X-Men, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, and all the other great animated series were around today, most would get canceled because they would fall victim to the ratings game.

I didn't know bud from married with children did mako voice

Also this weeks episode was great
Sucks it was only 1 episode I was so used to the 2 episode system
I guess we gonna have to start posting links to the online episodes
The bending in this weeks episode was :wow: :pimp:

so earth benders have metal and lava bending under their belts now.. I wonder what airbenders have

so earth benders have metal and lava bending under their belts now.. I wonder what airbenders have
it seems like air benders are the only ones who dont have another type of bending

fire benders= lightning, combustion

water  benders= ice, blood, healing

earth  benders= sand, mud, metal and now lava
sick.gif
im still not understanding how the lava works

Lava is literally molten rock, it's just rock in a different physical state, that's why they can bend it.

Don't forget water benders can plant bend by manipulating the water within plants (hence foggy swamp style). I guess it's a similar concept to blood bending.

Yea..airbenders taking an L as far as secondary skills go.

I personally can't think of a secondary skill either.

Earth benders OD

imagine if they pulled a fire nation and took over the world

They just naturally have more things to apply their skills to.

Imagine if they had an earth bender who could create diamonds, sapphires, rubies, etc. in record time..and it would technically be 'natural' as opposed to 'lab' made.

Dude would be caking harder than De Beers.
