We've done this before and my answer ain't change, Air. Offensively and defensively it's arguably the most creative and easily the most available. If you can breathe you can fight.

It's also the best when it comes to mobility. Super speed, jumping ridiculous heights with ease, spidey senses (sensing changes in the air to dodge unseen attacks).

FLIGHT. Only extremely skilled firebenders are jetting around and even then it's not with the ease with which an airbender can fly with a glider. ANY airbender.

Flight for them is one of the basics instead of an advanced technique. Again I mean with a glider, not superman flight. It's just the best. Aang and Zaheer know.

Monk Gyatso too. Homie had a nice collection of firebender skeletons around his.
 
Eh water has the highest potential with blood bending, but not many can do that. Fire is the strongest offensively. Look at azula or the fire lord. The only way your beating those guys is if you are the avatar or have superior numbers.

I had seen somewhere someone mention that in terms of antagonist,

Fire nation= Nazi Germany/Fascism

Amon and Equalists= Communism 

Zaheer and Red Lotus=Anarchy

Unalaq could be seen as trying to obtain a dictatorship/ totalitarian system.

Like the video posted references Season 4 could deal with the Fire Nation monarchy refusing to give up power.

I think there is a tribe of combustion benders. I think combustion bending might be a genetic defect though.

Well, they are fire benders, but the thing that interesting about them is that they have the visible 3rd eye and we have only seen 2.

Maybe it's a birth defect in fire-benders? Idk
 
Rewatching Avatar from the beginning. From the beginning of aang until this season's finale of korra.

Sokka low key annoying as fu-. Why he OD misogynistic? No wonda him never get bun from gyal.

That was one of the few times I got legit pissed off with CN cancelling a show. They had done the show dirty for a while with pushing eps back and taking unnecessary breaks in between before finally deciding to end it right at the peak of the show :smh:

As my avatar marathon continues I’m realizing that like 9/10 people in that universe are really about that life. At any moment, someone could just bend the earth beneath your feet, the air in your lungs, the blood in your veins, heat in your body….ish is scary.

Also: Sokka is the worst.
