just finished the eps. a few things. first, the williams girl could get it. she's no sloan, but id bump. speaking of which, her and the french chick were pretty funny, i had a few laughs i wont lie. dunham's character is the more awkward/lame ver of ben from how to make it and that sex scene was
but more importantly, i felt awkward watching it. hopefully williams can save the show by getting her back blown out next week. this show has similarities to How to make it and sex and the city (never really watched it so im guessing) but with that said, Girls < How to make it.
to be fair, how to make it started off pretty slow and it didn't help it was 30min. so i won't call foul just yet on Girls. the writing was good, and the humor was dry. i'd say a B.

Yeah you're right. HTMIA did start really slow.

And nothing. You can watch whatever you want to watch... the View, General Hospital, Dora, I don't care. If your favorite channel is Lifetime.. hey more power to you! I just don't understand because I don't watch shows about women because I am a man and I don't relate nor do I care. I guess I have just never been around dudes that talk about these type of shows like one of my boys talking about hey.. "did you see last night's episode of Sex and the City!"

I'm curious enough to see another episode. The lead actress is extremely self-deprecating. I find the humor funny but sometimes sad.
Hot young girls should make this show mildly successful. Also, I see nothing wrong with a show only about white girl problems.
