I slacked hard on this season and never started up.. but I'm glad to see the reviews were positive. I'll probably catch up and blaze through the whole season this week.
 
Not that it matters... but in the real world the job Hannah had doesn't exist as it did.  They just dressed it up for the show to make it seem more exciting and enticing than it is, but in real life that advertising job Hannah had is kind of a crappy in between job.

It pays the bills, but you don't share an office with GQ (you do a lot if not most of your writing from home) you don't get unlimited snacks, and it isn't glamorous.  I know professional writers who are like "**** you Hannah, people would kill to have a job that pays you well to write" but then at the same time they admit they'd be faced with wanting to quit it too, cuz well... that job sucks.  And when you're in your late twenties the clock is ticking.  Or at least you imagine it is.

I thought it was pretty obvious. Of course she went about it completely wrong. I think in some weird way it makes dudes feel superior watching this show :lol:

This season was really good. Probably the high points for me were the roadtrip to get Jessa, the vacation house and the grandma ep. Kinda felt like Shosh and Jessa were doing things early on, then just fell off, but still. Ray and the play made up for it. Whole thing was well done. My dude Adam getting a gift from up above. :lol: And there are very few things on TV as satisfying as when Marnie gets ******* told. This whole season just felt complete...and just funny and well done all the way through. Maybe there were a few eps from the first 2 seasons better than ones here, but this never dipped. If anyone could watch this whole season and still not like the show, then it's never gonna be for them.

It's weird, but the show Girls most reminds me of now is Entourage...

And it was nice seeing Jessica Williams from Daily Show get put on.
 
1st two eps of the season were kinda blah but after that it finished well.....really enjoyed this season and can't wait for next season!
 
Hannah was dumb to mention her acceptance letter to Adam minutes before he performed on stage. I hope Hannah goes to school and Adam leaves or cheats on her.

This was a great season way better than season 2.
 
I bet Hannah stays for Adam and then Adam leaves soon after. Ray is definitely my favorite character. I really thought he was gonna take Shosh back. Marnie still has big issues.

This was definitely a better season.

Ray's that dude and I'm glad he shut down Shosh. When she was begging him back, I was like "aww ****, he's gonna cave in" but I'm glad he stood his ground.

Overall, the finale ended on a good not despite all the nonsense. Bring on season 4.

I liked the premiere needs more Elijah. It seems like they're not even friends anymore with Shoshanna leaving while Marnie was singing lol
 
tried to watch last night but wasn't really paying attention. ill give it another run later, but i just dont really care about anyone on the show. ray is lulz, but he is somewhat ancillary.


been thinking about this lately. GIRLS should've been a spinoff of the females from How to Make It... not these morons. Marnie is basically lame version of Lake Bell's character anyway...
 
Tried watching it but I don't remember anything that happened last season. Was so confused.
 
dropped this after season 1, worth watching season 3 premiere for the rim or nah?
