These were retroed 3-4 years ago and weren't very popular. I loved them (because I had the OGs as a teenager) and doubled up on the white/royals when I saw them at my local outlet.

Yeah they dropped a few years ago and sat on shelves for the longest. Copped a pair from Champs for about $50. Nike really screwed up on this retro.

Really wish they would re-retro them w/ the Carbon Fiber. Still trying to find a couple pairs of the retros or OGs (as I was out the game when they dropped a couple years ago) but the prices for them them when they pop up on Ebay are ridiculous. Dudes wanting 200-350 for em, smh. A pair even sold in the mid 200's. I'd only pay that much for either DS or VNDS OGs.

I know what u mean, the prices on eBay are really high for a pair of beaters. I saw a pair of the retros and they didn't have the carbon fiber on them; Nike really messed them up. but I heard a little rumor that they were going to be retroed again, but I didn't get an exact date. I hope they retro them again this year, and put back the carbon fiber.

Laces were black, Blue wasnt as bright, the carbon fiber, soles was pre-yellow...etc

OG's were HARD but the recent retro was pretty bad, i mean they looked nice but man they creased and looked bad after only a few wears so i traded mine for some penny 1s and some Jordan 12s, i think i won on my trades

To the people who keep quoting these high prices like 200+, are you talking about the retro's?? That's crazy. Then again, I can see this shoe doing a lot better nowadays than it did during the past retro. People seem to be all about 90's trainers lately, plus the strap, clear sole.. if they did a proper retro, I can see them selling great.

No I'm talking about the Retros!! I've seen a couple pairs go for that much b/c I've been in the hunt for a pair at a reasonable price for awhile now. If the quality on the retros is are as bad as a lot of people say they are, i was shocked myself to see them going for so much. I'd pay 200 for some DS retros in a heartbeat.

^ you can get ds ogs for around that price, dont skimp on quality for more money thats just stupid

^Exactly. No way would I pay that price for the retros & even tried to talk a few dudes down, but their actually selling at that price at my size (12). Smaller sizes don't seem to be going for near as much.
