file a claim with them. send them you rshoes. if they find that it is defected they will mail you a voucher of however much msrp the shoe was. Shoe has to be made within a year or two i believe double check on that. ive done this about 3 times already.

Sending them back for scuffs, or wear and tear or vigorous wear for that matter is just stupid.

If you are really interested in getting a good pair of kicks and NOT paying $100 plus... wait until they are severely discounted or purchase older models at TJ MAxx and Ross for next ot nothing and you lose nothing in your transaction if they fall apart.

Its truly acts like this that make it a bad situation for the masses who do return for legitimate reasons.

If thats a hustle.. you are hustling backwards.
I'm not sure if that was all directed at me or not. It has only been like 5 pairs of other guys and my pair.  Care to elaborate on my backwards hustle?

When I wrote what I wrote I didnt look at names to see who was trying to dupe the Voucher system.  My comments are directed at those...if you are one.. ok.
For those saying Nike has gotten over on them for years, it makes me laugh a bit as if Nike made you purchase particular shoes at certain price points.  Granted if they are crap out of the box after a few wears.. yeah.. use the system for its intent.

However if you play 40 games in and outdoors thats called natural break down with wear and tear.  You are better off going to the aforementioned and getting a pair to run into the ground and save yourself a few sheckles

Man the people who are using this voucher system are abusing it, it's going ruining it for everyone else. Nike eventually is going to get tired of this and just cut the system off.

Hate to bring an old thread back but I have a pair of CP V's and the base of the tongue near the strings has straight ripped in to the toe area

is there any way that I can go about getting a voucher for this?

Your shoes don't look like they have excessive wear or misuse, so you are good. If you have your store receipt you can try to go through the retailer to get a refund. A receipt is not necessary for a nike voucher. After you read the terms, agree and fill out the form. Follow the instructions regarding labeling the package and including a note with the shoes.
Also remember that your voucher will be for msrp and will not include the cost of you shipping your shoes to them.
I did it last year for a pair of Prestos that started to come undone at the toe after a few weeks of light jogging/casual use.

Chato, I appreciate the help alot man

I will do this and keep yall posted on what happens

Just now hearing of this system and its kinda the same at most retailers where you can return anything if you are not satisfied with it, even if it is obvious wear and tear,

The difference is that you can do this without a reciept, up to two years after date of manufacturing (depending on product) and is only for manufacturing flaws.

Man! The nerve of some people trying to bypass the system! :smh: I currently work at finishline as a sales associate and you won't believe the number of people trying to return shoes after they have clearly worn them outside. For example, this one customer tried to return some shoes because she didn't like the way they felt, but the problem was that there was mud around the midsoles of the shoe and she claimed she only wore them inside her house. In my mind I was like ''*****! Who you trying to fool?'' lol. After I told her that we cannot return or exchange used shoes she began to yell loudly in my store saying that I was being disrespectful and rude when I was being polite and calm. If it wasn't for my 30% employee discount I would of went in on that lady.

Never knew the logistics of returning shoes despite wearing nike shoes for the past 20 years - I have a pair of Hyperfuse basketball shoes that I only have worn inside basketball gyms for maybe a total of 3 months and there is a 1 inch tear in the hyperfuse mesh upper on the left shoe and the Hyperfuse solid material on the toe box of the right shoe.  Thanks to whomever posted the instructions on filing a claim.  I never have filed a claim on defective shoes before and was ready to trash these shoes.  I agree it's wrong to abuse the system but for instances where a legit problem exists that exceeds normal wear it would be nice for loyal Nike customers to know such a policy exists.

Jus wanted to update you guys they accepted my claim and said a voucher will be mailed to me.

Any ideas on value of voucher or how u can redeem it?

The value of the voucher will be for msrp of the shoe you returned, not what you paid for it. So if you paid sales tax on it, or bought it from a reseller, you would not get any more than the msrp. I think that would be around $120 for cp3.V. You can redeem it on Nike.com for anything they sell there.

I'm dead real homie! Got them joints in August and they were yellow in January.. That's only 5 months, what's good with that??

Stop buying Lebrons.

And to the guy up there that works at FNL, you guys do accept exchanges on used shoes. You guys call them damages and I think FTL INC calls them FDs.

Well, I got a rejection letter for returning my copper KD's that I hooped in. The mesh tore in the front by the toe. They thought I tore them myself. :\

I had straight cut toebox on shoes that I only wore inside playing ball for 2 months and they rejected my claim as well. Trashed em. Disappointed with Nike's warranty if you can call it one.

I'm Sure Nike gets a lot of these claims. Even more so in the past 10 or so years. Quality control could be stepped up to avoid the returns. In the past 2 months I've bought about 20 pairs of Nike kicks and I would say 3 of them are worthy of this return policy but I'm the issues are small enough to deal with to me. I've had many nikes in the past that I should have retuned but didn't. Almost always is the airbag on the air max 97 disattaching. Which has me worried that the lebrons will do the same. We will see. Always seems to be any of the nikes with air all along the bottom.

same thing just happened with some Lunar Hyperdunks for me. toebox got stepped on, tore a spot in the upper and they rejected it :smh:

This takes me back to 9th grade 2001-2002 school year. My first pair of shoes I returned back was the dark graphite/red flightposite 1's due to the sole legitimately having a hole on the bottom with minimum wear. They send me a $160 voucher through the mail and I held it up until December 15, 2001 for the black/red Jordan 11's and ordered them on niketown.com. So, after I did that, me and a friend of mine used to find old shoes in the gym just sitting around. We used to clean them up real nice and cut the bottom of shoes, pop air bubbles, and etc. I got like 5 people doing it and it always worked lol. It was like we was getting free shoes lol. It all came to an end when Nike send me a letter saying that they wanted to take me to court for the scam that I was doing.. My mom had to call Nike and beg them not to do it and tell them that I wasn't going to do it anymore ( I was 15 at the time). So, after that happened, I didn't do it for years. I did do it once after, but I used a fake name and my older sisters address and it worked again lol, After that, I completely stopped and look back at how dumb and juvenile it was..
