More Air Prestos?

What happened to this shoe? This was one of the shoes Nike brought back recently that I looked forward to seeing more of.  I got into the minimal running trend a few years ago and have changed my running style to a more forefoot/midfoot running to decrease knee and back injuries. The Prestos are not only the most comfortable Nike shoe has ever made imo, but the only shoe I've found that I can run in that doesn't cause me any foot pain or numbness. I've tried lots of other brands, Saucony Kinvara, Vibram Bikila, Asics, New Balance 730, etc.)

Did these not perform well? There's barely any on the auction site either....

I was looking forward to these, but apparently they were Euro release only.

I would usually use this thread as an opportunity to talk about how much Gary Payton deserves to have his shoes retroed but... I personally love prestos and think Nike needs to re-release the OG run of prestos so I can re-cop the "abdominal snowmans" and "trouble at homes". I still have my "abdominal snowmans" in pretty good condition but I can only find one my "trouble at homes" no idea what happened to the other shoe.

They should also retro the animated commercials, that ad campaign was

I'm really really liking this simple colorway. Sad to say, ahem, larger guys like myself would/did crush the HELL out of that foam midsole but for casual wear these, when they first came out, were perfection... These along with the Nike Air Kukini and the And1 Tochillin' were my go to kicks back in the day  - to the OP keep looking... I'm sure they'll pop up on some online sites... Sneaker Freaker, Crooked Tongues, etc.... Good luck!
 
I have no idea why the posted colorways weren't released during the fall of 2011. I would have copped at least two of them.

Prestos hold a special place in my heard. When they released in the early 2000s, I wasn't able to get a pair, so finally getting one last year meant a lot.

firefly23 is right, I would LOVE to see the lightnings return too.
 
volts dropped last yr in uk. i love prestos. so itd be much appreciated if they drop more colors
 
Prestos are so #!!+*%% dope. I remember I used to hate them as a kid, then back in 06 I got some originals at a Mom and Pop store for like $10. I fell in love with them.

^What's up jbv1?  Kukini's and Tochillin's...definition of slip-on sneaker landscape at the turn of the century.  To a lesser degree, anyone remember the Merrell Jungle Moc?

also what's good with sizing on presto's? I wear a 12 in pretty much everything, but have a pretty wide foot, so would I go XL?
 
Nike %@@!!% up the last release by dropping the monochromatic colors. These shoes beg for at least 3 different colors.

Round abouts 05/06 a metric ton of these dropped in outlets; remember picking up 3 pairs for about $45 per. Not a clue what happened to them.

I'm trying to track them down too.  I think it's Euro exclusive like the colorways that came out last fall.
 
man i got a navy blue pair love them i copped them about 2 years ago
they were like 50 bucks i should have the copped xl and l size to resell them..

^i thought those just came out at some euro accounts? im hoping these will be available stateside come sometime around July-Aug.

I could only find the Volts on eBay.  Were you able to find the other ones on there?

The sizing for the presto's over the years is TRICKY. �For the MAJORITY of OG presto's 2000-2002 an XL would fit a 13-15 (so if you wear a 12 get a size large) (however I owned a woven pair that had different sizing on the box) �but for 2004-present XL will fit you (12-13). �Make sure you get the year of production before you buy otherwise you'll be caught with the wrong size. �I've owned A LOT of presto's over the years
