More Air Prestos?

I ordered some triple white ones in a size 14, I hope that's the same as the old XXL. I normally wear a 13 but the opening to all of these sock fit type shoes are too small to get my foot into. Plus the laces were quite a bit longer on the XXL vs the XL.

They fit pretty true. I wear a 13 and a 13 in these was perfect

Ok well I guess I'll find out this week when they show up and report back. For reference, I can't fit into a size 13 sockdart. The toe room is fine, its just too tight around the top of my foot and I practically tear them trying to get them on, same as the XL Presto sizing.

I hear you, everyone's foot/ankle is different.

I was never interested in the darts and haven't tried a pair on so I can speak on a comparison between the 2

Definitely report back though, I'm sure purple want to hear more about sizing since the update

Just picked these up for $100 at my local outlet. Only pair must've been a return
Heck yea, thats a come up. Very lucky indeed.
FINALLY FOUND MY 3XL.

Congrats, these are one of my favorite pick ups this year, hands down. I came up on a display pair at NTLA, wasn't satisfied and was able to get another pair on SNS size M. LOVE these. Not that it matters, but people always compliment me on these.

What do you mean.....
I think the presto is about to go downhill. They are going to start pumping out colors (some pretty nice, some pretty bad) so the presto is going to be everywhere and sort of go the route of the Roshe if you wanna compare.

Personally I am done buying prestos now that they changed the sizing. No matter what they come up with, i'm good on that. Just need a few more of the pairs that I missed before (brutal honey, island blue, cargo khaki TF pair)

The size change just seems like the turning point... for me at least. It goes against the origins of the sneaker itself and i'm not trying to have a stack of boxes that say XS and then some that say 8. Maybe it's my ocd tendencies but I just can't get down with it

I think it's only natural that the presto will do well in the current sneaker friendly climate where even the average woman who wouldn't look twice at them two years ago now owns a few pairs of swoosh joints. But you only have to look at the huarache to see how quickly things can go overkill...thankfully so far the presto is nowhere near that level at least here in the UK. Given how saturated we've gotten with the huarache here we're a decent measure I think

Women from the UK have much better sneaker choices than women from the US. At least from what i've seen on IG compared to what I see daily in the streets here.

Girls here think they have "sneaker game" if they are wearing Jordans. Whereas girls in the UK will have all the tough trainers *thumbs up*

The main reason I am straying away from the Presto now is not so much the increase in popularity but because they are changing the sizing. It's more of a personal boycott if anything.

Very sensitive over a pair of sneakers. It's not that serious.
Nope not at all. I just happen to be into the history of the sneakers I buy & the fact that they changed the sizing goes against the whole origin of the sneaker itself.

It was created as a t-shirt for your feet. So the fact that they got rid of the t-shirt sizing has caused me to not want to buy them anymore.  So you're right, it's not that serious. I'll be fine with the 7 pair I currently own & the other 3 that i'm still on the lookout for.

The sizing change sucks and does go against the original purpose of the sneaker. But I think that it's a relatively small thing, as the quality of the new "traditional sized" colorways is still solid.

To me, the sneaker is still a t-shirt for the feet in terms of material, just not in terms of sizing. Hopefully Nike continues to bring stellar new colorways over to the states.

Keep in mind the US and UK sneaker market are vastly different and have been for awhile. From what I've seen trainers and runners have always been the IT shoe in the UK while The U.S. Has focused on the basket ball sneakers. The tide is turning though. You think it's a coincidence that so many low top versions of Retros has been dropping? JB is trying to get a piece of the pie too. They're not trainers but that low profile is going to fly very well with dudes that won't the low top look but haven't yet transitioned to the no leather, free form uppers of the most popular runners and trainers.

You'd be surprised how many girls you see rocking JB highs in the UK too, there's a certain sub culture of girls who are the female equivalent of f*ckboi/ hype beast types and they'll wear anything that certain IG users and celebrities rock!

Oh no I know that. Even with the men too they always have been more into runners and trainers. But I guess the point I was trying to make was that even though most of the same runners and trainers are available (let's just say 70% to be safe) the women here still choose JB and think they're killing the game.

I'd much rather see every girl in a pair of Huarache than a retro Jordan. Women that can rock a fire running shoe well hold a special place in my heart.

guess it depends on location? i dont know a self proclaimed sneakerhead females personally that pigeonhole themselves to jordans, guys on the other hand will have whole collections with 95% retro jordans. i do know girls that only rock jordans because theyre trying to impress guys and dont really know a damn thing about them though.

This statement is filled with truth. I know more of those girls than sneakerheads. They'll own 3 pairs of Jordans and think they're killing it

I know exactly what you mean. Mf's got 12 pair of retros from post 2012 and claim they are "sneakerheads." I would consider myself a sneakerhead but would NEVER refer to myself as one. I mean I love sneakers, I have a various selection, spend most of my money when I shouldn't on sneakers, skip meals sometimes to make sure I have the funds for a new release, frequent sneaker blogs, make sure I know my history of the things i'm wearing and even spend a good amount of time posting on NT. But with all that said... if someone asked if I were a sneakerhead I would simply reply "idk man I just love sneakers"

There def are some girls in my area that would claim they are "sneakerheads" but they fall into the same category with the dudes with J's. And you're totally right... they are just trying to impress the lame dudes. I have yet to meet a female with a respectable collection. Except maybe a few chicks I used to work with at Finish Line back in the day.

Most of the females I have seen with the best collections are on IG and they come from the UK or Europe

ive definitely met a bunch of girls that dont know the difference between jordan 7 and true flights. but i actually know a few girls that are/were major sneaker heads, i actually dated one of them in the past.  most of them, like my self have grown out of the culture though. i like to keep up with some models every now and then like prestos and sock darts, some air maxes and some other models but i get to wear sneakers casually 2 days a week at the most and im just not as into it anymore. i spend most of my time in niketalk general now anyway

This is exactly what I was fearing.

This is exactly what I was fearing.

What's there to fear? If the shoe itself isn't changing or getting less comfortable or declining in quality what is there to fear? Summer is coming up and prestos are a summer shoe. More power to Nike for giving people options
