Update: 2016 ILX

New update definitely improved this car. Starts at $27,900.

Interior still has a very Hinda-ish feel but the dual screen is a nice touch.

The 2.0 liter with 150hp and 140 lb-ft of torque starts at $26,795.

It's not the ugliest entry level luxury car out there but it's probably the slowest.

EPA estimates MPG to be 24 city and 35 hwy.

Will it sell?

this design destroys the current TL design. a full size ver of this with the TL engine and a clutch would be

Saw something like that in Toronto not too long ago. Looked just like a US Civic but had no name. Just said "Acura" on the back.

Edit:
Guess some of y'all forgot Acura used to sell this...

Yes, that is cloth.

A powerless acura? Eh. But its gonna sell tho. You know the crowd that wants the look of driving a nice car and cant afford it is gonna be all over these.

Couldn't they just have different configurations/trims of the TSX instead of introducing a whole new model?

Yes, that is cloth.

RSX was based on the Integra though, not a Civic.

Acura is the luxury end of the Honda family. In essence, it really is a more luxurious civic. With respects to the Acura Line, the ILX is supposed to be the starting point, similar to that of the RSX, but unless the ILX has a sports trim or something, these look like the corolla zerglings. lolz

I'd take one of these over a corolla any day, but then again, I'd still feel poor.

If you take the Acura badge out of this, I'd think it's a Corolla. Though the interior is way better than any Corolla. I don't see the point of this car though, while it is a luxury car, it's still just a luxury Corolla looking car.

Basically, but on paper the title reads "Acura CSX" and "Acura EL" for the 2005 bodystyle. There was also a model from the 90s that looks almost exactly like an Accord.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, in the US this was the TSX.

In Europe, this was an Accord.
