this reminds of one of the most wildest dreams i have ever had.
I dont remember much of it but i remember it was of Lawrence Fishbourne and a 10 year old african american girl (im mexican american..). The girl is crying and saying something i couldnt understand.
Then fishbourne ask where's it at and they both look in the mirror . What i saw literally made jump when i woke up of all a sudden. It was my grandma's head, who past away two weeks later , with no eyeballs on the bottom right of the mirror. swear that %%%@ had me shook for a few days.

yes im very srs.

I've seen myself in my dreams and I look the same. I've had the teeth thing happen too, it means that you feel guilty about something.

When I'm in control of my dreams, it sometimes takes the fun away because I tell myself that it isn't real so it dulls the experience. I've had a few "dreams" that weren't dreams at all and those blew my mind. Learned some things...

Anyone ever murder people in their dreams? I have and not a damn was given. The fact that I did it so coldly spooked me a bit.

well, based on my experiences doing this, and from a few other people i've heard or read about, it may depend on how you feel about your appearance. like, i got this lil gap in my tooth that popped up seemingly out of nowhere, and i kinda used to pride myself in how straight my teeth are, so afew nights later i had a dream and i looked in the mirror in the dream, and my teeth started to fall out. like im spitting out teeth in a paper towel and all sorts of stuff until i looked like a toothless geezer.
one more, my hair is thinning on the top of my hair, and recently i had a dream where i looked in the mirror and all of my hair kept falling out until i had a strange hairline and spots of hair scattered along my head.

i've talked to people who had similar kinds of dreams, maybe because we are vain in certain aspect or whatever. this is just one example though, yunno? creepy stuff.

yoooooo.

one time i had a dream that i was in the bathroom at my work(dont ask) and i looked in the mirror and it was like i was looking into hell......true story

Anyone else have the experience of switching between first and third person views during a single dream?

I recently had a dream where most of it was first person but near the end it was third person and I was definitely looking at myself. This happens on the regular

Sometimes I know I'm dreaming when there is obvious stuff wrong in the dream and other times I'm fooled and I wake up like "Damn, INS?"

I have crazy dreams sleep paralysis and astrial projections but never experience this
I want to try and i know i will see some crazy $%* cuz deep inside i am quite psycho

Lucid Dreams aren't exactly controlling your dreams, its just being aware that you are dreaming but you go through it knowing the situatiosn.

I was always under the impression that you literally had control of the universe in your dream. If what you say is the case, when I do dream they're all lucid dreams. I had one last night.

My mom always says that this means death.

And I will try to give this a try.

It ain't so cool when you wake up staring at a ghost floating above your body

But thinking back on it, it's a cool story to have but damn it was terrifying in the moment.

I've heard that the teeth falling out means that you're holding in lies about something...

I had a series of dreams for a couple of days in fall of 09..were it seemed I was chained down in the next dimension..the area was made out of gold and fire and this huge creepy face was hysterically laughing at me in a evil voice...

I've also had multiple dreams of my teeth falling out, laying the smackdown on people..especially this one I was fighting on the steps of a high school against gangsta ninjas they were gold grilled girbaud'd out..then I got to the top floor and these huge stockiy Indian cats on flying horses were like well done and they gave me a horse and a championship belt, I had a dream that poison ivy from batman put it on me I was 8 and I watched the movie earlier That day..I couldnt wait to go to sleep for a couple of days Lmao

I can only control my dreams where I'm either flying or I'm Spiderman (I read a lot of comics as a kid lol). I never thought of looking at a mirror because I mean, whats more fun flying around or looking at a mirror?

Lucid dreamers, when they look into the mirror, to them they see "somebody else" but it's actually them. They become another person, or in essence living another life for a brief moment (in reality) but in the dream it's a lifetime.

I had a pretty weird dream last year... I walked into my moms room at night and passed her mirror on top of her dresser. Out of the corner of my eye I seen something in it that shouldnt of been there. So I turn back and look at the mirror and it like turns into a open window that leads to a dark room. For some reason I climb threw into this room and the mirror/window is GONE. I was freaking out because it was just black everywhere. No walls, no floor, no nothing. I could reach around and not feel anything but if I took a step, It felt like someone pushed me back into my place because "it" didnt want me to leave that spot. This felt like it lasted a life time, I was so scared to take a step in any direction because this thing I couldnt see kept pushing me back. When I woke up, I started to think that whatever it was I seen in the mirror when I walked by in the begining of the dream like wanted me to follow it into that room to trap me.. Weirdest dream ive ever had man. Never felt so lost or completely alone in my life.
