What is up with that?! My guy has been doing that for years and that's been my only gripe, since Day 1.

You would think he'd get the hint when I didn't let him touch it for awhile, but it's like an Industry Standard to make your Clients Moustache as TINY as Possible.

Don't know how many times I've had to say "Keep It Close to the Lip" OR "Just the Top".....

I found me a nice lil latina to cut my hair. She has appointments from 8 am to 8pm and sticks to them. You gotta do it the week before or you won't get your cut. I just gotta make I tuck my penis I my waistband cause she has dudes pitching tent, especially when she is between your legs to do your line and her tetas are so close you could lick them.

DAWG!! why do barbers do this?!! Broooo I really thought I was the only one!! If I'm not paying close attention my **** will be skinny af!

Idk, clippers I have wont make it as crisp as their clippers, plus I don't touch my mustache Cuz I've ****** up plenty of times and had to just shave it off lol

I decided to give my very local barber spot a chance last night, off the strength of this thread. They all Spanish dudes in there.

But as I'm sitting in the chair I realize my old barber was Spanish too . But it was a black shop though.

Anyhoo, I just got a shape up as a test run. I'm pleased. Homie wasn't pushing anything back too far trying to get things in line & was nice with the straight razor afterwards.

Next time I'm gonna ask who's nice with the fades and try that out.

Only complaint, which was my fault, I wanted my sideburns long and wide. I guess dude didn't hear the "wide" part.

I learned from Diddy to have pics to show your barber exactly what you want. I always pull out my phone or have magazine clippings to show exactly how I want my joint to look. I take it step by step with them dudes. First we get the length, the nthe taper, the facial hair sides, chin hair and finally the moustache. I'm a pain in the chair but I overtip so I'm worth it. Don't be afraid to be vocal. Don't be rude but let them know. Cause you'll be the one walking around looking like fat cat for the next week.

Thread has been lacking pictures as of late. Need to cut it but this is where I'm at right now
400

It has potential, just get it faded out and shape the top better.

To dude that said he uses pink lotion, it may work for him but its way to greasy for me. I prefer the Curl Milk discussed previously in this thread.

I also line my own beard and stache nowadays, my barber charges extra for it.

I was joking about the pink lotion. Made some whipped Shea Butter last night and my hair feels great and moisturized.

Other tips I read that hold true;

don't forget to wet his hair because water helps the product aborb into the hair and not just sit on rop of it and coat it. rub a little natural oil, like flax oil, in your hands and

coat his hair with the oil to seal in the moisture to avoid frizz and keep the curls - since some curly hair is porous and doesn't hold moisture on its own. curly hair needs

water to moisturize the hair (put leave in conditioner on wet hair to absorb into hair) and oil to seal the moisture in and keep it there.
exactly black folks well folks in general well esp black folks think their hair is a hassle and hard to keep up maintain when actually it is one of the most diverse easiest hair to maintain keep up...

its just most use all these products made for whites, or produced by chinese/asians etc.... and using all these chemical based bs...

New revelation!

Applying the milk or smoothie (dime sized amount) then applying shea butter after that is better then what I was doing before.

There has been debates about the LOC or LCO & I think the LCO is better for me.

Havent used the milk and smoothie with the butter all together yet but im sure the results will be even better
