I take 5k mcg of Biotin a day and my hair is gang busters. It makes all my hair grow. My beard is stronger. Skin looks good and it's helping me with my weight.

It will make the hair you already have grow longer, stronger and faster. Your not going to experience any new hair growth and look like a wolf.

Enh, not true. My eyelashes have grown significantly. I was a bit offput by it a first, but chics dig it. Also, look at the brand you buy and see if it has more than just biotin in it, some have other things in it like vit d, collagen, amino acids, protein, msm, iron, iodine, zinc, copper, silica, inositol, etc. that also contribute. My bald spot is filling in, still got some work to do there but yea the hair that is growing is dumb thick, black, and strong.
