Black guy hair cuts

So I'm working with this mini fro right now. Anyone have product tips for growing my hair in a healthy way? I've been working with an olive oil shampoo/conditioner combo and a coconut type soul glo to keep it moisturized.
In addition to using products, your diet is key to maintaining healthy hair. Try to mix some biotin and multivitamins in there as well as eating healthier.

I'm gonna give this stuff a try.

I use this, and love it.. you wont be disappointed.

Forgive me fam, I didn't know about sponges and didn't know the name of the style :x. Honestly I thought it was just wasn't combed that's why I said messy.
My ignorance is showing, but at least I know now
The Question alone is just :smh: ..... BUT, how is this Cut "MESSY" in any way???

It's all good, I can see why you said that now.

Yeah, it's just basically kinky twists in the hair when you use the sponge.

The curl milk smells great. I got a 3/4 tub of the curling gel that I'm not sure if I'm gonna use :smh:

If you have waves and your hair is long enough all you have to do is basically brush/comb against the grain and you'll have curls. If not to your liking then use the brush, but if your hair is naturally curly there should be no need

I need to find a shop that does appointments, stopped by today and my barber is still MIA from his long *** Christmas break :frown:

No way is a Barber that's actually doing well professionally, just gonna come back when he feels like it, after a month hiatus.

...Nobody checking for him. Lol

When you grow your hair out and your barber messes up. Livid when I saw, been searching for a new barber since and now I'm even more picky with who has to clean up after the mess he did. :smh:

What do you do to get in in your hair? The jar I have is solid as a rock.
I use this. The curl milk too. My lady loves it.

Let the bottle sit in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes. Or what I do is bring in the shower with me, by the time I'm done the heat would have melted it.
If you are talking about preferences and prefer the oil to be in liquid state you can do the above. However, if it is in solid form once you apply it to your palms it will melt due to your body temperature.

Was about to say this. My wife has all of their products and she uses it on everybody's hair except mines (rockin a baldy) Great price and great product. We also use a blend of coconut oil and all natural shea butter in a squirt bottle. I use that for a my scalp, especially after getting out of the shower and my pores are still open.

Repped.

You guys can also opt to buy fractionated coconut oil.

I posted about it in the men's hygiene thread recently.

I prefer this over regular coconut oil.

Have you guys seen this yet? It looks and sounds :wow:

GENIUS marketing to have Nas as the spokesperson for this

Son's cuts/hairline is world renowned & admired by all... They're about to make a fortune off this.

I was thinking the same thing!!

Check out the website. The company was made by a black guy with products and razors specifically aimed for black guys. I've never tried the stuff, but I'm definitely interested.

The Verge did an article on those clippers this morning. That's how I found it.
